No comments yet, everyone is busy trying to find a bargain…

No, they're probably stung by the Telstra outage that's just happened now…

      (Not a joke)

      • +2

        again lol?

      • Its perfect timing actually cause now they can just bundle the 'I'm sorry' into the free data day coming up from the last stuff up

      • I feel so left out - on Telstra and haven't experienced any of these outages (in Sydney)

        • You've got FOMO đź“

        • @muncan: My new word for the day!

      • So sick of Telstra.

On another note - have to laugh at any Kogan deal. So dodgy. They already pulled popular low margin items off their eBay site as per usual.

  • +10

S7 comes in around $820, no S7 Edge though which is $999 on their website

nice deal~ where are those antikogan group?

  • +18

LG G4 comes around 370$. This is a steal!

  • +2

No decent GPU's, hopefully they will add some

Edit - appears my initial search was wrong - http://stores.ebay.com.au/kogan/_i.html?_nkw=GTX&submit=Subm…

      Grey import.

      • +2

        Grey import.

Every mobile on Kogan is Grey Import.
        what is your point?

        • +2

          Many aren't aware of that.

        • +1

          @Rocket6: Fair enough

  • +6

Interesting the price difference between ebay and Kogan webstore prices on the couple of things I had been looking at (camera stuff). Almost the 20% difference, but is slightly cheaper with the 20% off code. So could be worse. Just disappointed in the price difference - if the prices were the same I would have been much happier… win some, lose some!

    • I would love to know the finer details of the fees these big store pay ebay & how these 20% deals work as whole.

    • Don't forget the free shipping on their eBay store

      • Many items in their non-eBay store qualify for free shipping as well.

      • +1

Yeah, I wasn't crapping on it… was just stating that there are differences in prices. I know that some of the bedsides (I've been waiting for them to go on sale) have gone up from what they have previously been. Don't know if that's "currency fluctuation" or if it's the 20% off, but just a warning to check…

        • Yep, a laptop I've been watching at Kogan has gone up by $9.95… I wonder what the relevance of that cost is?

    • +2

It's it legal for the same company to offer the same product on two web sites for a different price?

      • +3

Yes, even woollies around the country has the same stuff for different price.

        • From different bricks and mortar locations.

      • +2

No. Call the police and report it.

  • Seem Apple Products are also included in the sale. Great for anyone looking for one.

    • I am looking for ipad air 2? But just worries how does warranty work for apple products from kogan?

      • Fairly certain Apple stand by an international warranty so you should be all good to take it to an apple store should anything go wrong.

      • +3

Apple replaced a kogan purchased faulty ipad mini for me last year even though the serial number had it sold from Japan

        • Kogan sells Japanese Apple products? I thought they were out of Hong Kong?

        • Apple will replace it if its under warranty.

But they're under no obligation to provide 12 months extra statutory warranty.

        • +1

@King Tightarse: They source where ever its cheapest. From hong kong to africa.

        • @ko0l: Right that might explain the two week delay before shipments. I wonder what kind of wacky plug you get?

        • It was over 12 months old and apple replaced it anyway. Great service.

        • @GameChanger:

did they replace your japanese iPad with a local stock which then would have the 12m extra statutory warranty…

          ??

        • @SeVeN11: No idea. It was not in retail packaging. I sold it a while ago to upgrade.

Any bargains? Most of their stuff is just junk that can be bought cheaper on ebay.

Think before you type randomly…. this is on ebay!!!!!

    • The elgato game capture devices are good after discount compared to the rest on ebay.

JVs comment is actually 100% right you know - there will be a boatload of items that are cheaper than kogans ebay store, also on ebay - be careful ozbargainers, just coz "20% off" is in bright flashing lights somewhere, it doesnt always mean its the best price

        Eg $23 vs $6.49

        http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Kogan-USB-Key-Bottle-Opener-3…

I didn't come here to buy a bottle opener. I purchased a G4 and am rapped! Find that cheaper then come back and tell us where. And yes, I voted your comment down.

        • +6

@themob: glad you got a good deal - i know there are good deals to be had on high end electronics at kogan - its his major drawcard, obviously

my example is just a case in point to highlight that consumers need to be wary of any seller who will charge that much of a mark up on a novelty item which can be had at a fraction of the price in the very same shopfront…. I find it pretty darn cheeky personally

It was not a challenge, nor was it intended to start argument , sorry if you took it that way

The standout bargains will be posted singally on ozbargain, upvoted, and hit the front page with an acknowledgement of TAs original post in thanks - exactly how this site it supposed to work

Ill give you an upvote, just to ward of one of the several negs i fear you too are about to recieve

        • -3

@pointless comment: I wish you'd quit editing your comments 100 times while I'm trying to respond.

        • +2

@themob: i only corrected some grammar and removed the suggestion that you post the G4 deal as i realised it was already on the from page.

anything major, i flag it as an edit - you make it sound like im trying to pull the ol' switcheroo on you….not the case.

Maybe just wait 5 mins before you get back to me in future, if its a big problem for you

it also will allow you extra time to collect your thoughts :)

        • That one yup, of the HD60 which isn't too badly priced after 20% off either.

    • +2

I'd have to agree with jv here. Looking at their laptop range, searching the models and most of them are overseas versions from 2013… what the?

G4: micro sd, simple, quick, great camera

Better LCD screen panel as well.

      Wow..LG G4 @ $369.59 with the code is such a great value!

      400$ for nexus 5 black :)

    • +3

I would go Nexus 5x, purely for the Vanila experience. Also that finger print sensor is a must for me in 2016.Also, imo G4 bit ugly :(

      • +3

Already pulled the trigger on the G4. haha

        • Me too. They're absolutely flying off the shelf according to eBay. When I added it to my cart it claimed to be "low in stock" (black leather back - plenty of others available) and I just see they've sold five in the past 10 minutes.

        • +1

haha nice!. im looking now. $370 G4 or $400 5x. gahH!!! Wife has the 5x from last weeks JB deal. tempted.

      • I wouldn't mind a bit of Butterscotch experience over the Vanilla experience.

    • Nexus 5x if you care about software updates and fingerprint scanner and more fluid interface. Else, battery life, display capacity and camera are better on G4.

  • Motorola G 3rd gen comes down to 209. Apple watch 320ish. There were also a couple of xbox one bundles (like the 1TB holiday bundle) that come down to 350 :)

    • +5

Read this before you think of buying that model of Moto G 3rd Gen. Would recommend against it, even at that price.

      • +1

Blackberry Passport 32GB Black is advertised as $579 via Kogan webiste (see: https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/blackberry-passport-4g-lte-32gb…) whereas the RRP of the same phone via Kogan eBay is $601.99 (see: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-BlackBerry-Smartphone-Passpor…)

It's little wonder Ruslan bought a piece of Dick Smith. The Dicking continues!

    • If you're shopping on the website, add the Blackberry Passport to your cart, shipping is $22.99 and that makes it $601.99 does it not?

      • -1

Well if that's the case, and the $22.99 shipping price has been absorbed into the total price of $601.99, then why does the eBay listing state free expedited shipping?

You might have some people fooled…

        • Funny. very funny. You sir should be a comedian.. Free shipping. LOL!

        • @bluey47: I fail to see the joke…

  • Thanks TA , got 2 dashcams for work

    • Where did you find the dashcams? Can't find any category for dashcam.

      • I just ended up searching dashcam in kogan store

        http://stores.ebay.com.au/kogan/_i.html?_nkw=dash+cam+&_cqr=…

        • Which one did you buy?

        • @stargalaxy:
The Transcend with GPS and wifi etc. for 199 before code

Boss told me to get it, supposedly has good reviews

        • I was also interested in the same one, will look at the review first before deciding to go ahead.

        • @Teal: I have the DrivePro 220 in my car. Works great. The app is pretty good. Just takes time to transfer footage. Suggest recording small increments. I purchased mine for $199 picked up in Syd.

        • +1

@stargalaxy: Decent dashcams can be had for around $50…

        • @stargalaxy:

Try the A118C, you won't regret it.

        • @KaptnKaos: A118C have pretty good reviews! I'm assuming this is to be bought somewhere else outside Kogan?

        • @jpwwong:

Ebay has plenty, or try gearbest if you're after a discount and are fine with the month-long shipping.
