Keyboard is detectable, so Surface Pro not required for use.

Finding a full size Bluetooth keyboard with Touchpads is hard and this is bargain.

Possible uses:

• Couch browsing with your HTPC/Android TV
• Other tablets
• Add wheels on the bottom of the unused case and ride it like a skateboard

  Do you reckon you can get the keyboard out from inside that ugly fake leather pouch thing?

  Or do you have to take that whole thing as it appears in that photo?

  It's not clear where it "detaches" from the tablet-holding section. Google images search didn't help much either.

      Keyboard will. Think you need to be jailbroken for the touchpad to work.

        iOS does not support mouse. And I think Jailbreaking allows mouse for remote desktop only.

        I was wrong. Jailbreak can be used to have mouse on iOS

  Thanks. I bought one and it works well. Keys are a little too crisp. Touch pad slightly small but smooth. It connected to everything I tried. Keyboard is in a separate bound piece and very light as well as large. Folder is heavier and not as conveient as a magnetic one. My O.W. had a stack of about 8 on a clearance table marked at $40 but scanned at $20.
