Price dropped to an ATL per Camelx3. Had my eyes on this keyboard for some time because it is fairly portable (i.e. foldable) and has both bluetooth and wired modes, so hopefully it won't turn into e-waste when its battery inevitably dies.

This deal applies to the Low Profile Quiet Red Switch version. Low Profile Tactile Brown Switch version available for an even cheaper $63.99, but only has 5 units in stock (4 after I made my purchase) and does not meet minimum deal quantity requirements.

Credit to @luckyeddy for putting this keyboard on my radar.

    Why?

+1 to this question. I'd understand if it were folding to become shorter and fit in the pocket (to be used with a phone, for example)

        It's for laptop backpacks mostly.

If you have a bag that's for a laptop a couple of inches bigger than your own, you do not have enough room to put something above or below it; but you do have enough room to put something next to it (even in some 'correctly' sized bags too).

It makes me think of shopping; I always manage to find somewhere to slide a pringles can, but doing the same thing with a box of shapes is a pain, haha.

        • Didn't understand this product either, but your reasoning explained it really well.

Mainly bluetooth and wired modes, portability is just a plus. Been hunting for a keyboard like this for quite some time, no idea why so few manufacturers add wired modes to their bluetooth keyboards.

      • TIL there's actually mechanical keyboards that are only wireless. I thought only Apple did that.

  • This thing confuses me. I want it, but I'm not too sure why. I can't see why they would make the keys face the outside when folded and it doesn't seem like it realistically uses space more efficiently when folded. Maybe it fits in a bottle holder in the backpack? Anyone using it who can talk me into buying? Hehe

    • I know it's a completely different thing, but I think I just wish it folded l like this one

  • OP, you mentioned there was the black brown, but it links to the red switch? am i missing something?

    • The brown key switch version is now oos

    • +1

Brown switch version sold out, Amazon automatically redirects you to the version with available stock.

  • Last folding keyboard I had was for a Palm IIIc.

Given that it communicated via serial, it would probably (with some massaging and tinkering) still work!
