Sounds like now is the time to pick up Breaking Bad blu-ray complete series at 50% + 20% off.

    • Would pull the trigger on this deal, but already have the DVD versions.

Shame it doesn't include UV with it and the bonus 16th disc that comes with the US version.

  • TomTom or Navman? Any recommendations for a GPS up to $150?

  • I wanted multiple seasons and at least online this doesn't qualify for the buy 2 HBO titles and get one free, but on it's own this seemed like a good deal foe GoT Season 4 with a bonus Pop Vinyl at $19.98 - https://www.jbhifi.com.au/movies-tv-shows/movies-tv-shows-on…

Cheaper than the 4 Disc version.

    • All the previous seasons with their respective bobble heads were $25 at my local JB. Take the 20% off and you can pick up the 4 bobble head seasons for $80. The bobble heads are worth $15 RRP anyway, so the season is only $5 which makes this 4 seasons for $20… technically.

      • Same at my store. All the seasons up to season 4 also qualified for the buy 2 get 1 free HBO deal so I ended up getting season 3 &4 of GOT with the pop figures and S1 of True Detective on Blu Ray for about $13.35 each during the last 20% off sale.

      • Very nice. JB here was shut for Good Friday unfortunately.

        • it's on line only.

        • @wxyz234: Silly me…

Edit: I assumed the stores were open as I wasn't getting listings for all the bobblehead releases online, only Season 4 and 5

  • I haven't used the site for a while and I can't login - seems like I need to create a new account, but account sign-up isn't working for me.

    • -2

interesting…what else isn't working for you?

      • I managed to get a new account created by choosing a password without special characters.

With special characters the page just got stuck and showed no error message.

Glad this horror story had a happy ending….Top work buddy - be sure to let everyone know what you buy!

They did change the website awhile ago and required people to re-sign up.

  • Is this the first time they've ever excluded a particular title? What's so special about this Hunger Games Part 67?

    • Hunger Games Part 67

So, how long have I been in cryogenic sleep now?

    • +1

Most likely because it's already on a limited time special.

  • They also have buy 2 get 1 free on blurays as well, so works out to be 8.52 per bluray, not bad value at all.

    Mr Robot - Season 1 for $27.98

This. Buy this. Binge it in a day. Best show of 2015.

  • Thank you, saved me $15 on the latest season of Game of Thrones.

    • +1

Also picked this one up myself.

The 20% off offer stacks on top of Disney's 2 blu-rays for $30. Nice.

  • Anyone know if there are some genuine gps bargains there?

  • Sweet! Picked up all 8 seasons of Curb Your Enthusiasm for $76. Delivery was a killer but still a pretty good deal.

    • +5

That price is pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty good.

  • I know OP wrote it in the description, but for people who don't understand how it stacks…
    buy 2 for $40 becomes buy 2 for $32.
Some insane bargains this way…let's hope they have enough stock to fulfill the orders.

  • I said this would happen in this post https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/240289
However I didnt want to speculate on there being bargains like that post.

Altough never explicitly stated, whenever this deal comes up for CDs, vinyl is included.

Best deals I have found is the new Drones album for under $30 with postage, and the under $30 range becomes ridiculous (for reference, it was hard to find that Lorde LP for under $49 for a long time, so under $23 is nuts!)

  • Is it still $1/item delivery? Or can you choose to pick up in store?

    • You can pick it up at the store if that store has stock when you purchase/pay.

    • +1

They jacked up the price when aust post did …its like $1.80 now

      rude.

  • +1

JBs' web site in store stock listing is so annoying and I have found it always to be wrong. While postage at $1.67 is not bad, when you order ten or more items it's starts to add up to be expensive.

So many time I've gone to select 'Pick Up In Store' to find out that the web site lists none available - sometimes none in the State. Then you go to a store and find multiple copies on the shelf. This current 20% off sale for one day only and being on a public holiday (Good Friday) has prevented anyone from going to a store to check if the items are available, thus you have to select delivery.

If I check tomorrow (Saturday) and find any of the items on the shelf, I'll, I'll, … well there's nothing I could do except moan and complain. So thanks for letting me vent here.

  • any other season set or film sets worth getting ?

  • I miss the days when they had that 50% off voucher with a JB Hi-Fi music subscription…

  • Looks like prices on some items have increased though.
Back to the Future 30th Anniversary edition has been $25 for quite a while, now $35 (excluding 20% off).

    • "discount offer. Offers valid 25th March 2016"

that's something we all neglected to read - deals over.
