In a nutshell, small wireless mouse utilising bluetooth (up to 3 concurrent connections) or usb unifying receiver. Rechargeable battery charged via micro usb cable (included). Battery lasts up to 2 months per charge. Uses Logitech's Darkfield laser sensor.
Been using mine for last few months - great travel mouse.

Might be worth considering paying $16 extra so if anything goes wrong with warranty you can return it to store instead of dealing with manufacturers. Caveat emptor. Don't want to neg you OP but can't see many deals going at Dick Smith just yet. Liquidation really starts the day before stock realisation - store closure (which will vary store to store but for major stores probably another couple of weeks).
Only thing really going cut price since the beginning of the year are Eneloops. Everything else has been cheaper in 2015. From Bose to Uniden. Even the batteries were cheaper in sales last year.

Has recently dropped to $48 from today. Manage to get the last on from Westfield CBD.
same crap ergonomics as the original (unusable middle button). Hope they fixed up the unreliable mouse buttons (that all get bouncy on the original) as well as adding the rechargable battery
