Walking Dead Season 6 Free

Thanks to Foxtel Go being free for 2 weeks, I was able to watch Season 6 of the Walking Dead free, except for the last episode next Monday.
Does anyone know when Season 6 gets released on Presto?

  • Season 5 has been on it since last year

  • You'll likely get TWD Season 6 to Presto in the same timeframe you got Season 5 last year.

The official line from Presto last year was "Later in the year" - so you'll get fed the same again this year. It'll come out this year, they'll just have to wait for the Foxtel exclusivity to end as they're playing it directly as their air in the US.

Unless you're planning on avoiding the Internet completely in the meantime you're going to find it hard to avoid spoilers. My advice for the season finale is to find a friend that has Foxtel or acquire it via "some other means"…then rewatch the season when it hits Presto (it's been a great season).

  • Wait until a VideoEzy coupon and hire the last disc for free?

ETA: Ignore me, pretty sure it might be Fear The Walking Dead that's just gone into the machines.

  • Hey, newbie here.

I started watching walking dead and find it boring. Is it just me or is the first episodes boring. To what episode should I skip to if so.

    • What are you looking for in a show?
I'm not into TWD for the zombies, I'm into it to get an idea of sociology after an apocalypse
If you like violence, Season 5 Episode 1 is the most graphic. It gets more violent/visceral with each season.
There are plenty of slow/dead episodes (no pun intended).
It's interesting to see the moral decay of people over time - the morals of characters that are in Season 1 and still around are totally gone by Season 6

    • TWD is a slow burn. S1 was great. The series seems to have a great season every odd season. So if you didn't like S1 you probably wont like the show at all.

If you want to watch something like TWD but more action packed, check out Z Nation.

      • Big TWD fan. I tried one episode of Z Nation on Netflix and it was awful. I couldn't bring myself to go back for more. It was more light-hearted and makes fun of itself a bit, but for me this destroys any chance it has of replicating the intense visceral atmosphere of TWD.

        • Try a couple more. It gets a lot better, the first episode was one of the poorer episodes.

But yes it is much more light hearted and makes fun of itself.
