Anyone looking for a cheap tent?

This one had a 'special' ticket or something along with it. Not sure what the price was before?

      1000 is considered low so under that is very low.

      Basically if it rains water can come in.

    saw heaps of these at target - quality not good and no sandbags. its also tiny
    would not recommend, but for $12 it's a fair price

    These are the sort of "disposable" tents that people tend to take to festivals and just leave there for someone else to clean up. Not a good thing really, although Im sure they have other valid uses (kids camping in backyard etc).

    I believe these might be new lines. In January when I checked I believe every chain (Target, K-mart, Big W, etc) was selling 2-person dome tents for a standard price of $15. BigW also discounted their tent to $12 (https://www.bigw.com.au/product/hinterland-2-person-dome-ten…).

    While these are crap I'm sure (as you'd expect from the low water rating) I can confirm from a recent camping trip that K-mart tents are officially the worst for water resistance. One girl had a Target tent I believe and claimed she didn't get wet at all in light rain. My K-mart tent could collect rain in a desert.

    I don't know if there's stock in stores but Harvey Norman is selling their one man tents for $5 (reduced from $15). Yeah I used pricehipster.

    Ive got the camo one it's pretty good quality. I did a test run in my backyard and set it up. Haven't seen it since.
