Home Loans

I am planning to buy a house in few months.my partner and I both work full time and accumulated 10% of the house money for the deposit. unfortunately my partner is in a 309 partner visa which is giving her every rights as a permanent resident including medicare but she is not permanent resident until she gets partner subclass 100 granted.subclass 100 is under processing but immi. dept told us that it might take up to 15 months to get it. I am an Australian citizen.
Any of you think we can still get home loans together ????????????? CAN SHE BE INCLUDED IN THE LOAN APPLICATION ???
thanks

call mortgage broker some can give you answer.

    • THANK YOU

  • Hi jobs85, in our experience (as mortgage brokers) a 309 visa applicant can be acceptable for a home loan approval, especially if a co-applicant is a citizen.

If you wanted some help with options please feel free to send us a PM.

    Hope this helps.

      • You're most welcome. Best of luck with the application. If you were looking for a place to start you may want to consider chatting with a major bank (Westpac, CBA, ANZ, etc). They will usually consider approval for a 309 visa applicant with an Australian citizen co-applicant. They're not typically the cheapest route, but usually have fairly flexible policy with respect to these types of lends. A good credit adviser should hopefully be able to help you navigate credit policy, interest rate and LMI cost considerations.
