I think it's safe to say this is complete garbage. It's just an EQ that may have it's license spontaneously revoked even though you've paid for it. You'd be better off paying $50 for the cheapest xonar, If you're on a laptop buy a USB sound card such as the Fiio K1 for $60 and thank me later.

$35 for a software EQ? LOL.

    It's garbage, doll ;-)

I know a friend who has this, and it is surprisingly good. The 3D enhancer really makes a difference when you are watching blockbuster movies (e.g. Avengers).

Still $35 is pretty overpriced IMO.

    • If you want virtual 7.1 surround sound for gaming/movies you could just use and install the free version of Razer Surround Audio software,

but in the end it's just software tricks, the end result is nothing like having proper surround sound setup.

Software won't improve your crappy onboard sound.

Buy a USB DAC and a headphone amp if you really want improved acoustics. A creative audio DAC is anywhere between $30~100 AUD. http://au.creative.com/p/sound-blaster/sound-blaster-x-fi-su…
