Notorious BIG - Life after Death (Remastered) - Google Music $1.99

760

One fantastic album at a fantastic price.
I have the CD but I'll buy it again for $1.99 (using Telstra or Google survey credits) for cloud convenience.
"They bought my LP twice. Yo be nice."

Relativity is in the eye of the beholder

But yes, many of my comments are complete and utter garbage :)

        • Or pointless, as your username suggests.

        • +3

@Trishool: yes it does - full marks for comprehension. The irony is that your comment adds nothing in itself :(

While you're here, which is your favorite frank white track?

        • @pointless comment: it wasn't irony I was aiming for, rather delicate satire, as you've "inspired" me to post pointless comments.

One More Chance, hands down, followed closely by Notorious Thugs.

  • awesome price for a classic double LP. Technically you are getting two CDs for 2 bucks.

Technically you are getting zero CDs for $1.99

Tupac is way better than Biggie.

    • -2

Coke in a Holden is better than Batman with a Big mac

    • Biggie Smalls is the illest, your style is played out.

Like Arnold and that, what you talkin' bout Willis?

    • suicine u on drugs?

    Biggie small is the illest

  • It's unbelievable..

  • Would people say this is biggies best albumn?

  • The best that ever lived, the best that ever did it.

Kanye & Bow Wow are so much better than Bigge, at least they have flow. The Game is also an excellent rapper.

    • Thumbs up to G.A.N.G.S.T.E.R G.A.M.E but Gayney & Bow Wow Seriously?

    • What about GZA, Jay, Nas, and Raekwon?

    • +1

      at least they have flow.

Holy shit you better be joking.

      • Must be…

Personally, I've also switch on to Kendrick Lamar and J Cole as a couple of the newer rappers that are killing it.

        • Yeah Kendrick and J Cole are great.

        • jcole is some good shit, but imo there was nothing gamechanging from 2014fhd or bornsinner.
kennick on the other hand, boii he raised the bar

Kendrick is a complete pole smoker and a mainstream hack.

The classic era of "rap" is long gone. There are, however, a few artists still making good underground hiphop, but you have to look long and hard to find it.

@Sir Casm: please point us in their direction, always open to new stuff

Hip hop is pretty much dead. Lucky there is plenty of old school classics to make it live on. Every now and then you might hear a good album other times I can't understand what the saying lol.

        • +2

@Sir Casm: Sorry mate, you seem to have gotten Drake and Kendrick mixed up.

          @hen dawg:

          Mr Green
          Matlock
          D-Stroy
          Dirt Platoon
          Fredro Starr / Onyx
          Hex One & 5th Element
          Statik Selektah
          Wyld Bunch

Just a few of my recent acquisitions that are on rotation at present. It's a shame, it's getting harder to find new stuff that's good, not "skinny jean rap" BS. (Onyx is obviously not new but they are still putting out albums).

          @Sir Casm: thanks mate!

Also, for indulging in some of the finest underground sounds from the early-mid 90s, check out a user on Soundcloud called BAD COP, his playlists are effing dope. Enjoy.

        • @hen dawg: rappin duke worth a listen.

It's great to see Australia is finally producing rappers which can compete on the international level.

      • Thank you so much!! Funniest thing i have seen in a longgggggggggggg time!

        • Haha, read some of the comments on his video, some are funnier than the video itself.

      • Thank god, I was scared for a moment that you and Tren were being serious…

Jimmy Fallon paid him out but it was the most exposure that excuse for an "artist" will ever get.

Why would you pay $2 for something you already have? Why don't you rip your CD?

    • Short story: I'm lazy.
Long story: I had it ripped and tried to match with Google Play to stick it in the cloud so I can download when I want. But it kept giving me censored versions and mismatches. For $2 (unused telstra credit), it's worth the fix (i.e. laziness) hehe.

      • possibly a stupid question but ive seen a previous post about buying apps with telstra credit… i have telstra internet and prepaid mobile, how does one accrue and spend telstra credits?

        • +1

I use Telstra mobile prepaid. If I recharge $30 and get say $250 worth of calls etc, I can use the $30 for calls, to by data packs, and buy content from the Google Play store (most beneficial for me).
I can't remember if you have to register first, but when you purchase an item from the Google Play store from your Telstra mobile you have the option to be "billed through Telstra" (comes out of your $30 balance).
I also recommend signing up for Google survey/opinion rewards. They offer a small reward in the form of Google Play credits for each survey (roughly 10c-50c each and I get 2-3 surveys a week). https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.and…

  • Do I need to do anything? it is showing as 15.99 for me

EDIT: Never Mind, im a noob.

  • Respect for the Nortorious BIG

  • Great music but bad format… Who buys music to keep in 2016?

  • Christopher Wallace had a great sense of humour
