    FWIW, that's a different phone. In that deal, GB are selling the Helios X10 model, this is for the superior Snapdragon 650 model.

    If you can score that conversion rate, this is a really good price for this phone. For me, this comes to ~$320 delivered with slow old Singapore post, which makes it on par with the Vickmall price I paid a month ago. Oh and double check the DHL shipping quote, too, especially if you don't live in a major city.

    Will generally have to look at Oppo or Huawei for band 28, as they actually have a presence here. Pay a bit more for them though.

    Oppo R7s from DSE for ~$400 atm is pretty close if you can find one in store.

  This is a killer phone. Amazing what you can get for under $300 these days. Only weakness is the low light photography but everything else is near to flagship level. But I would make sure its Global Rom from Xiaomi not some vendor tampered ROM.

    How to make sure it is a global Rom? Can you still flash global Rom on this? I read here that xiaomi started locking the root on their phones.

  I think I need to wait until there is more custom ROM support for these. Unlocking the bootloader sounds like a giant pain in the ass and then once you've done it, all you have available are MIUI roms. Hopefully the developer community gets on board with the Note Pro 3 and we at least get CM rom for it or something.
