WII Family Trainer Game (Mat with 2 games) $25 [syd]

190

Hi All, I just picked up the Family Trainer, which has the Matt, and 2 games (each with a few games on it) for $25 at EB games on George st in sydney CBD. Price on it was $169, on the web site has it listed for $99. This is brand new in sealed box. Dont have a scanner near me to be able to scan receipt.

Also got the nerf shooter game (with gun) for $25, and the 2nd one for $15 after trading the game back to them for $10.. (ie get the nerf gun for $15, cheaper then the cheap white plastic guns for a 2nd player).

enjoy.

  • Saw this at Victoria Point (QLD) too, but I had zero interest in it.

  • Looks like a pretty cheap game to have some fun with friends.

  • A receipt image would be really handy. Mobile phone photo? :)

  • You haven't really explained it very well. Is it the game and mat or does it come with 2 games as well???

  • It's the mat and 2 games. It's not a bad game for the kids (we bought it last weekend at Heidelberg store). Saw this today on dstore site:

    • Huh?! L@@k at dstore
So this hasn't release but why it's on discount?

Pre Order - This item is expected to be released on 28th Jun 2010 *

      • It definitely has been out since at least last year.

For the record, I've seen it at Prahran EB as well, so likely a national thing

        • As you can see by the title/cover, it's the sequel/2nd version. I'm guessing chichi is pointing out that you could also use the mat for an upcoming game?

          • @robhung: The one at dstore is the same as the one I purchased from ebgames (mat with 2 games). The game that tsandu has linked to on the ebgames site is a single game only with a mat.

  • the box contains the matt, and 2 games.. our kids played one of the games tonight.. not bad at all.. can compete against each other at the same time with the one matt.. quality built etc.. no use scanning receipt now, as others confirmed its at other stores as well… good even for the grownups.. cant go wrong for $25..

  • many thanks to tsandu!!!

Just got one before the shop manager take the "$25" note away from the box…:-P

  • OH, so they've taken the '$25' away now??
I don't get it, why is the price on the box $169, but scanned out at the counter to be $25…. a receipt would be realli gd thanks!

    • Probably because pricing/marking individual items to reflect markdowns is time consuming.. their resources could be better spent elsewhere :)

  • I just went today at the Top Ryde store and got it for $25. There's only 1 left now

There's a table at the front with a big sign with $25 games, and it's part of that promo

  • THANKS! i'll go check out the george st store today!

  • Thanks! Got one from the North Syd EB. they stil have some in stock. The guy said it just wasnt selling cuz the mat is a bit 'primitive' compared to the Wii Fit Board. $25 is still good for a novelty toy tho'.

  • Got 2 today in airport west victoria. Great for $25, thanks

    • Can you use 2 mats at once = 4 player? Or are all the games designed to be 2-player only..

      • i think 2 ppl max, but thats the software that came with it.. hardware wise you could if you wanted plug 4 of them in.. however not sure any games would support it.

  • FYI JB are selling these on special for $99

  • We picked one up at Stafford City in Queensland, today. Also found out in our travels that if your store is out of stock the game can be ordered in at that price until the end of April. There are currently over 1000 copies available to be ordered in.
