Why do I need to buy this if I have travel insurance provided by credit card.

    • -1

It's because the travel insurance from cc has an excess fee of $250 and varies with different provider. Also they take their time giving you the refund.

      • Only if you claim. If you buy this insurance you need to pay evn if you don't claim. I assume you claim all the time?

  • I recommend you always check your levels of cover on your credit card and the Terms and Conditions. Many credit card policies may just offer basic benefits and you may not be covered for everything you need.

  • I've just been shopping around for cover for my Daughter. Quote with the 10% off seems like a pretty good deal..thanks

    • You are welcome, safe travels.

For me for my upcoming Japan trip Auspost with their current 20% off deal was a fair amount cheaper

I find worldcare travel insurance backed by Allianz Global Assistance quite cheaper compared to similar cover by other providers.

    • I agree. However they have a $100 excess and there doesn't seem to be an option for no excess?

  • Ta muchly! Perfect timing and just what I came looking for tonight! Covering myself for a not so cheap, NT trip.

  • Anything for the ski policies?
