I would be careful of using SCTI, I was recently considering using them for a trip and the amount of fake reviews there is just ridiculous. The users on product review website have only posted 1 review and registered themselves the day they posted never to write any further reviews. Just look at the first two pages. I personally haved claimed with SCTI and found the process to be very painless and quickly resolved. I actually received payment for items that I did not claim (meals and transfers that I would have paid had my trip not been extended due to a typhoon + a fee for a last minute flight change on the way home).
Canstar are still listing them as 5 star and for several years they were their gold winners

Logged in for the first time in aeons to say I used them for my Bali trip that was affected by the volcanic ash cloud and they paid out everything in full almost immediately.
where do I put the code? I'm on the credit card payment page and there hasn't been a page where it asks to put the code in.
On the first page before you put in your date just above the get quote button there is add a promotional code..
But be warned we are still fighting with this company at the Ombudsmans Office, shonkey at best
What was the DFAT advice level when you bought the insurance?
We cancelled the leg to Istanbul after the idiot blew themselves up at the Blue Mosque the advice from defat was to avoid tourist areas
so we lost that money and because the airline would not let us board in Athens we had to buy new tickets back to Oz

any idea which is the cheapest annual insurance which covers air fare for delay in flight.
I am transiting from vietnam to singapore and onward back to perth. I have a 3 hours buffer in between.
However, I am afraid that the fight from Viet to Sg will be delayed which in turn doesn't allow me to fly back to Perth.
Both airlines are budget airlines and they are booked separately from 2 different budget airline.
This code didn't work for me when booking for next month!
I can confirm this code does not work, even for a flight this month.
Do your due diligence, made a claim against Southern Cross last year,when we had to cancel our trip to Turkey.
We received an email from the Oz Government saying not to travel there. Southern Cross pulled out the we don't
cover any claims related to Terrorism card, so as not to pay the claim, yet they knew we were traveling there
