lol I got one of these 3wks ago when it was $60. Both myself and missus enjoy it, quick to make a coffee, quick minimal clean up. Start up and time till ready is about 30s, nothing to complain about. Coffee pods are $8.50 a box (16 pods) there are quite a few flavours/blends but have settled on the Blue 'Ristretto Ardenza' which is hard to find in many shops. It ranks 11/12 for coffee strength so a relatively small amount goes into the cup/mug and we add milk to the rest and microwave it on high for 40s.

Pretty quiet imo, not a bad entry level machine if you're looking for one. Kids like the hot chocolate. The latte has a milk pod, it's powered milk and I didn't go much on it but we've settled on the one flavour for us. Add paper cups and lids for takeaways and you're sorted.

  • Don't buy capsule coffee, horrible for the environment and banned in most of Europe.

Quote "Banned in most of Europe", How did you come up with that false statement?

The truth is the German City of Hamburg banned them in February this year and only in State run buildings. It was the first to do so in the world and the only place I can see that has done so.
Since when do Hamburg State run buildings equate to the whole of Europe?
Also I think there are far worse things for the environment that should be banned.
