  • I also saw this email from MSY and wondering what is so special about this monitor? It's only the usual FHD resolution, not UHD. And the wireless charging is a redundant feature just like those USB hub on a monitor.

    • In all honesty I wouldn't buy a 27" with this resolution - way too pixelated if you sit in front of it.
4k/UHD would be a better choice for this size.

QHD (~2k) would be the ideal resolution for 27" imho. for 4k 32" to 40" is the sweet spot

      • 4K at 27/28" isn't great without scaling for many apps (solidworks for example). And if you're scaling what's the point of 4K? I much prefer 2560x1440 for this size.
Edit: Lol, beat me to it ^^

      • Have you ever tried 28" with 4K or 27" with FHD? I have both (Samsungs) and its overkill for 4K to be on a 28". You need to run it at a minimal of 150% for DPI scaling before it will work well and it breaks a fair amount of Desktop apps because the scaling is not always supported properly.
4K is best on 40". 27" is great even with 1080p.

Not necessarily. It can be convenient as it would save a power point and charger/cable for a phone when you're at your desk.

I wouldn't buy a monitor purely for that feature though.

  • Is that day wireless charging?

      Night only, sorry.

      • That's a crazy typo, i meant fast wireless charging.
