Good Bargain/Buy but what in all seriousness is the 'Army' shop doing selling kit for the Chairforce!

      • +1

        shots fired :o

      • Lol I dont know. But I have been waiting for the A2 jacket to go on sale as my previous a2 got stolen last year!

    • How's the jacket? Cheaper than other leather jackets?

      • +1

Leather isn't top notch. But is <$200 I can't really complain.

It keeps the wind out when I ride short distance as well.

        • Cheers mate, I'll have to think about it

Not the best but will keep you body parts and skin inside after a crash.

Some good deals there! Thanks op :)

I bought my last Leopard Tank from them.

It was a refurb, but works well.

Better than a Collins Class Sub…

Most of the Leopards have already been sold off to RSL clubs etc. Grays Online about a year ago was selling off the Old Landrover 110's, I've seen a few on the roads, some still with the tac plate/unit symbols stencilled on the side, took me back to a misspent early adulthood!!

      • +2

        i have a 110 ex army landrover ;)

      • The Perenties are absolute gold! A 110 with galvanized chassis and Isuzu drive line plus the many other variable extras depending on what kind you get. If only I could get an LRPV :-(

If anybody has a son or daughter completing RMC, this would be a great opportunity to get them 20% off a ceremonial sword as a graduation present. I'll be buying some Army and my former Corps Lapel Badges and Cufflinks.

  • that widdle austeyr rifle awwwww

    • Dealing Death at Distance!!!!!

Wait, the army has a shop?

The prices aren't as good as the Q Store though… :P

If it is free, then its for me

  • I think the discount was intended for returned servicemen?

    • Nope, I'm not a part of the ADF and I got that email. It's for those that have signed up for the newsletter.

    • +1

I see the ad for this 20% discount in my Facebook feed. As I have no connection with the ADF, it must be a very general promotion.

Edit: The reason it would appear in my FB is that I went to the website, unknowingly picked up some cookies, and there's some type of advertising dollars flowing to get customers.

  • Is this (shop's) clothing Australian-made? Is actual Australian Defense Force's clothing Australian-made?

    • +2

      *defence.

      The ironing is delicious.

      • +1

"Defence and defense are different spellings of the same word; yet belong to different forms of the English language. Defense is used in American English, and defence is used in British English, which spans Australian and Canadian English" - SpellCheckOnline.

Seems IOS word suggestion prioritises American version.

        • @StewBalls:

          IOS…, software…, computer… "Word suggestion"? 🙄

        • Yeah, if you have your region set to the US.

          @AlexF:

When I was a kid (all of 15 years ago), you learned things like spelling for yourself- instead of outsourcing it to a computer to blame.

          @damoo:

          Mistakes, by definition, aren't deliberate.

When you were kid, there weren't full (capacitive) keyboards as wide as your thumb. Word suggestion makes them practicable.

          You can stand down now.

    Hi Guys,

The owners of armyshop.com.au also own militaryshop.com.au. Armyshop doesn't have a cashback scheme but militaryshop does and the coupon code 'SERVICE' works on militaryshop, so be smart and order from militaryshop insted and get yourself an additional 10% cash-back.

  • Is anyone still in know if the plain cotton shirts khaki are still made out of indestructible cotton? I would love to buy a few more.
