FREE Pizza Mogul Pizza on Sign up @ Domino's (Expires May 1)

1370

Another round of free Pizza for new sign ups.

Same deal as previous times, except if you want to order a pizza off the menu, you have to "create" it in Pizza Mogul first.

When you create a pizza. You can start from scratch, 4 toppings free, additional ones at $2 each. Alternatively you can make one based on a menu Pizza. Using a menu pizza would provide more value, as many of them have more than 4 toppings, then you can swap 2 for free. For extra "value", swap cheap topping for "expensive" ones such as prawns and chicken.

E.g. Take a Supreme, swap out pineapple and Italian sausage for prawn and chicken.

On a completely unrelated note. Did you know that you could add 10 alias to a single outlook account?

CODE WILL BE EMAILED WITHIN 72 HOURS

Probably on Monday/Tuesday next week, and lasts for a week.

    AGAIN???

    gee

  • +2

Side note, please no one list their Mogul pizzas (names) here, they'll be deleted. Chuck them in the Wiki if you want to :)

  • I got their pizza last time and I find it a bit rubbery. Is that normal nowdays?
Maybe it was a bit cold as I was walking home after picking it up.

  • Not again

    Dominos backwards is sonimoD

I am mindblown by your revelations.

      Gelnelg backwards is glenelG

      • +6

        Actually Gelnelg backwards is Glenleg

        • +2

          Wow I typo-ed lol. OK, let's try that again….
Glenelg backwards is glenelG! (S.A. 5045)

    • sigh

  • Here we go again.

  • got my 2 pizzas last night using the codes saved myself $23 ! when i got to the store to pick them up they seemed very confused but nothing they could of done about it

    • +2

Why would they be confused? From their point of view, its no different to having paid for the pizza with a credit card or paypal when you ordered it online.

      • +1

i did two seperate orders and both were under two different names one of me one for someone else , went to pick them up and they only had 1 name on the orders screen but i told them i was here to pick up for nic and louise and they just seemed confused but all was fine in the end.

        • Try bringing a friend next time to be more subtle in ur efforts to score freebies :)

        • +4

"i did two seperate orders and both were under two different names…"

Doing silly things like that, you run the risk of ruining things for us less greedy people who just order 1 pizza. Isn't it obvious to you that only someone that was blatantly trying to 'game the system' would order two pizzas under seperate names, to be picked up by the one person? Don't you think that would be obvious to them too?

          Sheesh.

        • +1

ITT why communism would never work.

        • @GnarlyKnuckles: Unless if they're poor and have to feed their family

        • -1

          @GnarlyKnuckles:

Maybe if you actually read my comment you would have seen that they were for two people me and my mother if its any of your concern… hence why i did two separate orders as it says "strictly one per person"
so before you go calling people greedy maybe get the facts straight :)

        • +1

          @nnolan:
          Whooooosh!

      • They are confused even with single order - first time I ordered, I received a call back asking that "there was no payment required on your pizza - how is that; is there are coupon being used?"

        • What was your reason?

        • @PeeDee: Mogul pizza code.

      • Actually when I picked up mine they asked whether I've already paid for the pizza. I said yeah I paid using a voucher and they looked confused because its $0 and asked me how I did that. Maybe the staff are not even aware of this deal.

    • Why confused?

    • Yep the staff have frowned at the receipt and given me weird looks.

      • -1

no one has noticed a thing after 4 occasions at 3 seperate domino's, might just be your imagination.

  • -4

Cheers for the deal but would anyone be able to let me know the trick to use the same gmail address to sign up? or i have a hotmail account i could use alternatively
    thanks in advance!

  • +23

I would like say that its quite normal for companies to read large boards such as Ozbargain to see how their promotions are doing. In saying that, I would like to thank Dominos for the pizza last time and remind everyone that companies are happy to do promotions like this but might not do it next time if everyone bragged and skyted about all the free pizzas.
One sign up for me and one for the WAG, that is fair and reasonable.

They are pushing this Pizza Mogul creation thing hard. This is the 5th in the last 6 weeks. They know it will be abused, but they need to get a critical mass of people using it, they need the raw numbers. People spreading the word, creating pizzas, and push their "social" platform forward. I don't expect they will be keeping this up for long though.

      • Yes totally, they probably have a numerical target of Pizza Mogul sign-ups in mind to fulfill the promotion plan.

    • Hey Dominos! Do you mind if I print hundreds of codes and distribute them to all the homeless people in the CBD? Though I may have to do the ordering if they lack internet access.

      • The homeless people in the CBD here all have iPhones. Ever since they came out. Not even joking.

        • Yeah I know what you mean. I witnessed this in the UK. It's sad when the one's who really need help are also the type to never ask.

        • @peterpeterpumpkin: Yeah the ones in the CBD are probably the ones that don't need help. Usually there because there's more people willing to give them money.

  • -3

They must be losing a heck of a lot of money.

    • +2

Money obviously not an issue for Dominos :D

  • +1

Pizzas 4 weeks in a row. My body is ready.

    • You can't handle the pizza!

  • Thanks OP! I haven't even used up my codes for this week yet…

For extra "value", swap cheap topping for "expensive" ones such as prawns and chicken.

Just checking, how do you avoid the surcharge? It seems that I have to remove two toppings per chicken topping replacement.

    • +1

You can swap up to 2 for free. They also notify you when you add something that will result in a surcharge, as well as a running total on the bottom left side of screen.

      • Okay I think it's because I removed oregano initially and it didn't count because it's a free topping.

        • Yeah, I think herbs are free and not counted as a "topping" as such.

  • +3

guys his a tip delete your mogul accounts that you have already made, and re make them again you get a new code sent to you :D

    • did this - but somehow the code received is not working.

  • +1

Do they actually say the name of your creation when you pick it up?

"Yes, I have one #MMMM_I_Like_Meat_In_And_Around_My Mouth".

    • No, you have to add a name with your account.

    • Can't wait for the #Dominos_chefs_best_slave_labourers

  • +8

Thanks OP, after 2 free pizzas I not doing this again. I actually feel bad for taking advantage of Dominos. I think I need some kinda bargain counseling, this isn't normal for me

    • +2

I would make out a cheque to Mr. Dominoes and mail it to the head office explaining the situation.

    • +1

Yes, I agree. Eventhough I buy lots of pizzas from Dominos, I don't expect lots of free pizzas. If I have a voucher, I use it and also buy at least 1 other pizza as well. I picked up 4 pizzas on the way home from work about a week ago (had some friends coming round), and got a free Mogul Super Supreme pizza (paid for the other 3), and I have to say the Super Supreme was just beautiful. The best pizza I have ever had (but everything tastes better when free). I might never have ordered one without the voucher. I'll definitely be buying more Mogul Super Supremes in the future.

  • -1

By the way, if you don't want to make your own pizza using mogul, you can use the codes on all pizzas.
Enter the code in on the site and then it comes up in the sidebar. Pick a pizza from there. Ez

    • +3

At didn't work for me last night when I tried doing that with my last code. I had to muck around for ages to actually make my own mogul pizza.

      • Yep, I don't think it works anymore.

      • -1

With all the extra work you have to do they should be paying you for this shmogul business. Back in my day the pizza boffins did all the thinkin' and designin'for ya.

        • +1

um yeah they are. mogul dough

  • Would 1 of these serve two average eating adults?

    • +2

      nope

      • +2

        1.5 may be

        • +4

          Per person.

    • +1

      very small pizzas

  • -1

Additional Gmail accounts are quite easy to create in incognito window. And adding 1, 2, 3 to the end of your original address works. I got the codes for every single one.

  • -1

    I haven't received my code?

  • Again?! I've only used 2 of the 5 codes I got from the last one.

  • +1

i got a code and i ate it

    • Why didnt you just use the code to get the pizza?

  • +5

To all the people having trouble to read let me make it a bit more clearer:

CODE WILL BE EMAILED WITHIN 72 HOURS

    :)

    • +6

OH ok, but the pizza code, do know when we will get it?

    • and the pizza?

    • You'll have to speak up, I'm wearing a towel…

    • -1

But it expires on 1st May you won't even get the code by then. No deal!!!!!!
      ;)

  • Edit: nvm.

  • Thanks OP

  • Just booked it and let's wait for 72 hours for code to come…

  • Gawd, im getting fat already. but can't resist.

  • How long are the codes valid for??

    • A week; they'll be mailed out sometime Tuesday afternoon and be valid until the end of the following Tuesday.

    • About a week after they send it.

So valid from Monday next week to something like the Monday the following week.

  • -1

Yeah I feel bad now for taking advantage of Dominos but I have to say that using Outlook aliases is the best method for this deal.

    • +2

Keep saying that and it will be blocked too.
      Sheesh…

      • Doubt they will block it.

Outlook, including domains such as live and hotmail, is one of the largest email providers anywhere, and the only way to block the aliases is to BLOCK THEM ALL.

They are individual and unique email addresses, not a trick with . or + or what ever. No way to tell whether an email is the primary or just an alias from the address alone.

        • +2

Yes but they may well have a second look at the situation and introduce sms verification or some other method. If people want the good times to continue, best not to skyte or discuss work arounds here.

        • @King Tightarse:

I doubt they bother with the additional verification, because this isn't a long term thing and it will take too long to implement anything significant.

They already know people are "abusing" the system. The first deal allowed now defunct . and + tricks, then they removed the ability to directly order off the menu. These are all fairly simple changes. But to introduce a 2FA authorization of some variety? It will take time and money, and besides, beyond some serial abusers, I reckon a lot are getting sick of pizzas already.

  • +4

To all those people that say there is no such thing as a free lunch, here it is :)

    • +2

it's free breakfast, lunch and dinner for me.

  • If you really wanna be smart, what you do is you make a Mogul pizza on one of your accounts, then you use all your codes on the pizzas on that account to get points. I've got 50 cents on there from yesterday night when me and the missus cashed in 2 coupons from the last one. You can "cash out" at 5 dollars, not sure if you get real money or Domino's money or what, but I'm gonna find out!

    • +2

Yeh I've done that and have about $5.50. Then I saw the 'donate to charity' button.
Actually kind of a win win. Free pizza and warm and fuzzies from the donation.

      • +2

can use that money to buy value pizza?

        • +7

I don't think I want any more pizza

        • @Hoju: This reminds of those $2 whopper deals. That short binge years ago helped me purge the "When will I see you again" theme song from my mind thus far.

  • Hey guys, will your order name be the same as your Mogul username?

    • +2

You enter the order name when you order, so it's separate.

  • If you go through the regular dominos ordering site and go to the pizza mogul section and type

    "ozbargain"

in the search box it comes up with a few pizzas that ozbargainers must have created.

I assume they are all ones that have no surcharge so would be free if using the vouchers.

So, no need to create your own mogul pizza.

  • -1

you don' have to stick with 4 toppings, can also order traditional pizza range with that coupon code and total amount will be zero, i did last week no issues.

    • think that's changed now. Tried doing that tonight and didn't work
