  • Woo! Darwin here we come

    • yeah. cheap bris-darwin. In the last sale I picked up jetstar price matched flights - 4 people for $280 total! crazy.

      • I was being facetious, but is there actually anything to see in Darwin?

          LOL, don't really know.

          did the OB thing: bought and then thought about it.

          There is nothing in Darwin. An over rated sunset, bloody hot and lots of indigenous itinerants pestering everyone for smokes.

          @captobvious: thanks for the confirmation

          @captobvious:

          …lots of indigenous itinerants…

          And fat southern itinerants with no sense of history.
          They're the worst.

          Lol. Darwin is fabulous. It's unique in Australia. The city still has a fantastic isolated, frontier vibe about it, certainly when compared to some of the other dull, sterilised Aus capitals. It's also got incredible natural surrounds - grab a cheap hire car and drive for a few hours and take in everything from Litchfield national park to Kakadu, which is quite honestly stunning. Brilliant place to visit for a few days.

    Just a heads up for those who were hoping to use the Coles Prepaid Debit MasterCard, the card isn't recognised as an Australian issued card and will impose the booking fee…

      Note also if using Jetstar pricebeat, all CC fees are waived.

  • Might head up to Cairns after uni final exams and check out the great barrier reef. Thanks op!
