    I don't understand how people are getting so many free pizzas. They don't send voucher codes to temp email domains and for people to get up to a hundred pizzas they would have to set up and register with 100 emails which would take hours to do.

    • +1

      Because they are ozbargainers, of course they have several email addresses, or domain names that they can easily add unlimited email addresses more easily than you think.

    • except for hotmail or outlook accounts :D

    • 1 Outlook account = 10 email addresses.

    Seems like people are sick of Pizzas :)

  • can anyone repost the signup link with promotion ?

    • You need to use an incognito window or clean out your cookies.

      Edit. NVM, seems like they have ended it early this time round.

  • I still have 2 from last time I was gonna use for lunch tomorrow…heads up to anyone else who's patient (or lazy), this offer is over now, or at least it seems so. There's no free pizza option floating for me. Next time I won't be so lazy.

    • It still shows up for me.

      • can you give me the link ?

    137,018
    Moguls have created
    284,813
    pizzas and earned
    $763,618*

    So does that mean they have given out 130k plus pizzas (with the 130k Mogul accounts)?

    This deal have close to 3k clicks. This is the, I think, 6th time it has been posted. So a guesstimate of 18k clicks through from Ozbargain (6 x 3k).

    Now assuming Ozbargainers ain't all crazy greedy and only redeems 3 pizzas per click. Thats 54k pizzas. Thats about 1/3 of the total given out. I don't know if that's impressive or not. But it sure is a lot of pizzas.

    (I know using a click is a pretty bad measure for how many pizzas. Since people can go to the pages directly, and people need to use incognito windows as well. All of which will not be captured in the number of clicks. But I reckon 3 pizza per click should be a decent enough approximation.)

    Did a bit of googling. It seems like there are 570 Dominos stores in Australia. Now if we take 130k free pizzas over the 6 offer periods (weeks). Thats about 20k pizzas a week. Or 3k pizzas a day. Or about 5 pizzas per store per day. This is a surprisingly low number, and I wonder if the staff would even notice it. I also wonder how some people must be abusing this in order for them to leave an impression on the staff.

        I have asked you to keep it low key about three times - you just cant help bragging about it can you?

    • Interesting calculations.

      Just had a look on alexa.com Australia rankings and was suprised to see how high ozbargain ranked at 92 compared with dominos at 248 and pizza mogul increasing many places but still way behind at 4,389

      So ozbargain would be a mojor source of traffic to this campaign, and Scotty was saying a few years back that ozbargains market share or influence was low.

      Click counts would not be very accurate way to messure, i tend to not click them. On TA's posts of this deal he also provides a direct link, which many would click, i tend to copy and paste this link.

      Would be interesting to see the change in dominos market share. This campaign has really gotten me back as a paying customer after avoiding dominos for many years when the chefs best range was launched.

      • Yeah, I know is pretty bad way to count it. But we don't really have anything better.

        Also, after going through the old posts. The 3k clicks in this particular post is actually very low by comparison. My one (no direct link in post) last week had 5k clicks, Miss B's (with direct link in post) had 5k as well. Two other TA's post were 4.5k, and the first one (Bearosaurous with no direct link) had 5k as well.

        So if we use a guesstimate of 3 pizzas per click and an average of 5k clicks, which should be pretty conservative. We are looking at 90k Pizzas. Even if we take the really really conservative estimate of 1 pizza per click, thats still 30k pizzas.

        Then with your traffic data. There is no way that Dominos doesn't know about their "deals" appearing on Ozbargain, and a substantial percentage (25& minimum to 75% maximum) of pizzas being claimed by Ozbargainers. They are, after all, a online sales pioneer with all the couponing and what not, so their online marketing department should be pretty savvy.

        I reckon this is a plot to clog up Ozbargainer's arteries. :)

        • Its probably a market share hack by dominos marketing, a bit like one of the other deals a few years back, Oovie or delivery hero, i cant remember.

          But what does all this conclude to? It says, eat more Pizza.

  • "Offer expires 11:59pm 08/05/2016 AEST"

    So all over red rover for tonight? I just joined up a mate via the regular link so I wonder if he'll get one - it still within the parameters they advertised but there was deffo not the usual free pizza pop up.

      • +1

        Me too please if any spare

    • -4

      Received it yet?

      If not, how did you sign up this time round? Using the same IP? Session? How many times did you sign up?

      Just wondering how they managed to pick you out.

      • -2

        Didn't get anything this time. IP address may have been the same as for the previous round but I'm not sure if I had the same IP the last time. Got about 12 in the last round and tried for about the same in the latest round. Most of the codes I had given away as I wasn't going to use them.

        Where do I email to report that my code has not arrived?

        • If you are using ADSL (or any non-mobile connection). There is a good chance your IP might be the same. ADSL/Cable either have fixed IP or dynamic IP, but dynamic IP doesn't change until you reboot the modem, so its as good as "fixed" in this context.

          So I have a feeling that they detect it via IP AND the volume of sign ups.

        • what is the email to contact to report that my codes did not arrive?

        • +2

          @xxxozbargain:
          If you go and whinge that your 12 codes didn't come what do you think will happen?
          Also: "Most of the codes I had given away as I wasn't going to use them."
          Why order so many if you don't want them?
          It's like you are a one man army doing all you can to stuff this for next time.

        • -1

          i like to help those who missed out.

        • +1

          @King Tightarse:

          you're the one thats whinging…acting like youre the moderator of all the pizza mogul posts.

        • +2

          @sinishta:
          Large companies like Domino's have dedicated marketing teams who would certainly review posts of their promotions on large sites such as OzBargain. The Domino's terms and conditions are clear and are in the OP "Strictly one per customer".
          If they see large numbers of people openly bragging about getting "$500 of pizza" in your case, or getting 12 pizzas and not even using them or by abusing the system with multiple sign ups, they are sure to react in ways that translate to less generous or less frequent deals for everyone next time.
          So basically it wrecks it for everyone and I have an opinion about that.

        • +2

          People will ALWAYS rort the system, that's life.

        • @xxxozbargain:
          The smart ones don't loudmouth about it.

        • +2

          @King Tightarse:

          People are all different, maybe not all as smart as you are.

        • @King Tightarse: They already know what people are doing. They would have to be incredibly stupid and/or naïve not to.

        • Let's stick to discussing the deal and not turn this into personal attacks. Thanks.

          @moocher:
