Damnn… Just bought in Woolworths 40% last week

    • +2

Me too! $500 worth.. ouch! :-(

  • +1

Can you use multiple gift cards when purchasing something?

    • +3

Up to 10 online. Infinity over the phone

      • +1

Thanks. I've always thought they were overpriced but at 50% off might find something worthwhile.

        • +1

I've used them a fair bit since Xmas cos of the deals. A lot of activities are actually decently priced/no premium. Some things obviously you can get cheaper elsewhere but With the 40-50% off its a steal!

Definitely a good way to do things that you wouldn't otherwise pay for.

Did $300 surf camp with friends for half price

They got harbor bridge climb on there

Taking my mum on a hot air balloon $300 all up instead of $600 which is just crazy

        • +1

          @CheapskateQueen:
I'm booking the bridge climb right now

"Adrenalin also have $15 off Everything atm too"

they do not let you combine these offers, ive tried with no success
"Receive $15 OFF when you spend $79 or more in one transaction. Simply enter the promo code 15FINAL at checkout. Limit of one promo code per purchaser per transaction. Not valid for Gift Voucher redemptions,"

    • so can't get the $15 off because we are using the gift voucher from target basically

  • whats the expiry period of these usually ?

    • December 2016 for the one I just purhcased

      • I got the same expiry date - dec 2016 even though target site says 12 month expiry

    • 12 months

  • wow this is a good deal…tandem skydiving including videos for under $200.

    • which place ?

I couldn't find any option to book for photo/video at wollongong

      • I was looking at Sydney $374

  • I purchased 2, went to purchase another 2 but I got an email from Target saying the order could not be processed and they refunded it…

    • Yeah it greys out the boxes after adding one to the shopping basket for me… bit pointless for a $50 card. If anyone finds a way to get multiple cards to add up to $200 value that would be good.

  • I just went to book sky diving for a mate, and there is no option to pay by gift card. Good thing I didn't buy them yet.

    • Just did hot air balloon using gift cards, you sure bro?

      • So you bought multiple lots of 2 egift cards?

Not sure if the deal has ended but everytime I try to buy a 2nd lot of 2 egift cards Target cancels the transaction within 10 mins or so and I get a refund into PayPal :S

        • +2

I bought 2, then 2, then 1. Redeemed for a Sydney bridge climb.

        • @puffinfresh:

My first 2 went through and I received them pretty much instantly. That was about 2 hours ago. Now trying to buy more and it won't let me me. Should've bought more earlier :S

        • @jamestownfx:
I just bought another 2, and it worked fine. I'm using a credit card directly though, not PayPal.

        • @puffinfresh:

Tried that and I got an email saying my purchase is 'under review' :/

        • @jamestownfx:
So that order worked, and so did another after that. I then did two more orders, and both are awaiting review :/

        • @puffinfresh:

          Yeah mine just got cancelled

        • @jamestownfx:
I'm fine with a cancelled order, so I can then try again (assuming it works eventually, even with another email address). I just don't want to be left in limbo.

        • @puffinfresh:

I've tried with multiple email addresses, multiple credit cards, multiple names, multiple new accounts, all not working…

        • @jamestownfx:
Weird that 2x2 of mine went through after yours didn't. Tried clearing cookies or using different browsers? Use a mobile phone so you're on a different IP?

        • @puffinfresh:

          Yeah trying new IP now

          Edit: rejected still!!

        • @jamestownfx:
I haven't heard back from mine. Still under review.

        • @puffinfresh:

Same problem here. First order went through! Then tried 3 more orders and all under review! Don't know what the problem is! Target's still getting their money.

I'm hoping the reviewed orders go through. Otherwise is this deal available in store???

        • +1

          @Bugg0:
          @puffinfresh:

I just rang Target and they said they're aware of the issue and it won't be fixed until Monday. Sometimes orders go through, sometimes they don't.

This morning I manged to get 1 order through, the rest were cancelled instantly.

    • The option shows up if I say I'm doing it, but if I say it's a gift, it doesn't appear. Maybe because it's like buying a gift voucher with a gift card.

      • +2

That's correct. You have to 'book a date' on their website. The gift cards have a 12month expiry. If you wait for the last day of the valid period and buy an experience as a gift, then technically you could have another 12months on top of that to do the experience. It would essentially give people 2yrs

        • I've got a date from him that will be fine. I'd hope the provider would let him change anyway.

        • +1

@puffinfresh: I haven't had an issue in the past.. but every provider is different

  • +1

    bought $300 worth in 3 x 2lots no dramas

  • Highly recommended. I bought 50 of them when they were on sale last Christmas. I ended up paying half price for so many activities in the Gold Coast when I went there with a group of friends. Half price 2 hour jetski tour was the biggest highlight. Totally worth it.
I still have 5 gift cards if anyone's interested (and this deal runs out).

    • I might be interested. I need 4 more to book skydiving for a mate's 30th, but my last two orders are under review from Target. Just waiting to see if they go through or not.

      • Thanks for the offer, but I ended up getting all mine by using different email addresses and cancelled the orders under review.

    • And I'll take the other 1

      • Sell to jamestownfx first if he wants more than one.

    • I'll take one if there's any left at the end :)

  • Planning to gift the cards to a friend, should I list Recipient Name as my own or theirs?

  • Seems there's no limit on sale items? For example http://www.adrenalin.com.au/rally-driving-6-lap-taster/qld-b… is 50% off, then another 50% off makes it a great deal.

Edit: Based on target reviews, seems not. Bit dodge.

Also does Adrenaline provide the discount or the service provider? As could get some pretty cheap flying lessons… though they'd be unhappy if they were losing out.

  • does the gift cARD STACK WITH promo codes?

    • No. Promo codes never work when paying by gift card

  • +1

I was just looking at Red Balloon for a Tiger Moth flight for my Bros birthday. Unfortunately adrenaline doesn't do it :(

  • +2

Hope it is not another Dicksmith

  • I saw this in the gift card redemption terms:

A transaction fee of $4.50 will apply to each gift voucher.

Not a deal breaker but worth mentioning.

    • is it per gift card or per transaction ?

    • +1

That wasn't the case for me. A $4.50 transaction fee came up when I went to book an experience, but when I said I was paying with a gift card, the fee went away. So I think that's only if you are booking an experience voucher using another form of payment.

Gift vouchers (giving an experience as a gift) are not the same as gift cards (what target are selling).

  • +1

How do you actually redeem the gift vouchers on the website? It says "To use your voucher, simply enter your voucher number at the Checkout" but I cannot seem to find the actual place to enter anywhere at checkout

    • yes im comfused too, how do you get 50% off?

      • It shows up if you choose to book the experience now, but not if you choose to gift the experience to someone.

  • +1

Review from targets website states that discounts as appear on the website does not apply to gift cards. So the value may not be that great. For a lot of the deals they are already between 20-50% off.

    • this is good to know. Was hoping the sky dive going down to $125 from the discounted $250 was too good of a deal. It still ends up around $170ish though.

  • It is the Gift Voucher holder's responsibility to ensure the gift voucher is redeemed before the expiry date of their gift voucher. Gift Vouchers are not redeemable for cash and cannot be redeemed towards the purchase of another Gift Voucher. A transaction fee of $4.50 will apply to each gift voucher.

$4.50 per gift voucher! So, your $50 voucher is now worth $45.50 and lets hope that they don't stack on the below….

A non-refundable merchant transaction fee of $4.50 will apply to each booking.

    • That wasn't the case for me.

  • +1

Can anyone please confirm that they are charging $4.50 transaction fee for each gift card ?

    • Only one fee. $4.50 for entire process.

      • I didn't get charged a fee at all when I paid fully on gift cards.

  • I also don't get a box to actually put the code in at the checkout……I redeem it but then I still don't get a box??????

    • Can not use gift vouchers to buy experience as a gift….if you just do a book now then you can use it.

Had a couple of my purchases require review. Called up target and they were happy to discuss it. No limit but the system limits due to fraud ect. Told me that on monday-friday the teams will review and most likely approve them. She did suggest that if i wanted, I could cancel my orders now and try and order via separate emails/cards. I did this and it worked.

Great timing as well! I literally was about to buy a 70 minute flight deal for my partner ($268). Used $250 worth of these vouchers + remaining 22.70. Total cost 147.70 + points for using amex through target.

    Thanks OP!

  • +3

Thanks Op, bought 3 x 2 with the same email each time, Paypal each time too.

18 month expiry on vouchers. Cheers

  • I just purchased a dining experience for a total of $162. I used 4x $50 vouchers. Where does the left over value go? It didn't even mention where it went???

  • looks liked it expired now :( showing as $50 = $50 mind blown

  • Expired now :(

  • Anyone have any they want to get rid of?
    After 200 worth lol :)

    • I have 2 x $50 voucher's if you are still interested!

  • Damn. I booked my bridgeclimb and a skydive for a friend. I had 3 orders under review that I asked them to cancel, but then I decided to also book an aerobatic flight. I was going to wait to see if they canceled the pending orders or not. If they didn't, I would have used them for the flight. If they did, I was going to order more. They were cancelled, and now it's expired :(

Oh well. It's a sign. I saved plenty on the other two, and I'm in no rush to do the flight. An extra $150 in my pocket for now.

  • I had 2 orders cancelled/rejected so I called Target today and they were really helpful and honoured the deal for me.

I then called Adrenaline and booked my experience and did not get charged any extra fees etc. that people have mentioned earlier.

    Hope this helps

  • Well my orders that were on review got released this morning. But got a new problem out of the 9 gift vouchers only 5 work. Anyone else have this issue?

I'm going to contact Adrenalin and fingers crossed that can sort it out. Don't think target are going to be much help.

  • Will pay 30 for 25 gift card…need another 300 worth..anyone ? :)

  • Does anyone know whether the gift card has to be used in one transaction? I.e. Say booking the $325 skydiving with 7 git cards.

Does the last card retain $25? Couldn't get a straight answer out of the contact centre.
