  • Will it play counterstrike skyrim ect?

    • Yeah it will play, just not at high settings. I have one my self, I tried it with diablo (gets abit hot).

      • Personally I feel any gaming on a notebook should be done on a cooling pad.

Maybe IJK can provide a decent option at a discounted additional price?

        • Yeah send me model number of the cooling pad, i'll offer discounts with it.

    • i ahve counterstrike on a 2012 laptop which has a ge force gt540m style radeon… if that 2gb memory card can work (think its an i7 first gen cpu as well) then this would surely be fine. not sure what people are saying about diablo and the like, as i had diablo 3 on there fine and this was a 2012 laptop… (asus n53sv model)

  • Will it play Age if Empires II?

    • Yep i think so.

  • The GPU is pretty mediocre.

Many games are still playable in 1366 x 768 resolution but these will have to be older games like Battlefield 4, MGSV, BioShock Infinite etc.

If you have slightly more dosh to spend, this deal by Scotty fits the bill of a cheap gaming laptop

    • Yep agree, its not ment to be a all gaming machine, that Dell is a great price 4core system with 4g 960 video card.

  • These two deals were better, because you got CashBack, free delivery and the second one listed had a 192GB SSD

That said, considering that a reseller can do this price indicates the fat that Lenovo have in their margins

I guess if you factor in the 8% rebate and free freight it is a pretty decent deal.

well those offers are expired, not too sure they will happen again.

Also we're the only reseller with these model.

Anyways if you do want to update SSD, we have a sandisk 240gb SSD for $89 (purchased together i can offer further discounts of $880 for the E560)
Please send me your order number via PM for this deal.

If you get these laptops make sure you update the BIOS as there is a known issue with non-numeric keypad arrow keys inserting numbers when held down for more than 3 seconds.

Only recently rectified with the latest BIOS update.

    • Thats interesting, i wonder if these have the fix, as they were built just 1 week ago..

    • Had the same issue on my E560 straight out of the box after purchasing from IJK almost 2 month ago and it also has the occasional loud beep with "fan error" message during bootup at POST

  • Hi Ronaldo, are you doing any deals on SSD drives if they are ordered at the same time as the E560?

      Hi Fozz,

we have a sandisk 240gb SSD for $89 (purchased together i can offer further discounts of $880 for the E560)
Please send me your order number via PM for this deal. I will update this in our system tomorrow.

      • Thanks Ronaldo, I'll send you a PM. I'm probably after a 500gb drive rather than a 240gb.

      • +1

Thanks heaps for your help Ronaldo, I've ordered one now.

  • Could the optical drive be easily replaced with a second hdd? I'm thinking of having an ssd primary drive and a big hdd as secondary for the family photos and videos.

    • I think you need a caddy to mount the hdd and replace the dvd drive. If you google 'e560 hdd caddy' it will show a few options but most of them look to be from overseas.

  • "it comes with free sleave"

Dam, I was about to buy it for the free slave.

  • Does a SSD drive make that big of a difference? Coming from a 2012 style laptop, looking to either buy a new laptop or the suggestions were to upgrade to a SSD. it's an asus n53sv model incase anyone wanted to look at specs, but it already comes with 8gb ram and a i7 (first gen i think) cpu, so i would have thought the cpu would get all office and personal stuff done. So any 'slowness' im experienceing recently is bloated windows that i need to either restore to factory settings I'm thinking, or the suggestion was to go a SSD?

    • yeah to me SSD makes a massive difference, loads programs and windows alot faster. It doesn't slow down much at all over time.

      • oh ok, might need to consider it. but how would one migrate the whole of your existing laptop hdd (recovery disk and all would be in there, to restore to factory) over to a new hdd like that?

only other problem i can think is it's a 750gb-1tb normally in a standard hdd, last i saw ssds always seem to be 100-250 gb (unless your paying a fortune) - o rhave ssds gone down in price over the last few years?

still seagate and WD for SSDs (like the old hdds days?)

        • If you purchase Samsung, they provide a migration software, you will need to connect this hard drive via external enclosure (through usb3) to do this. It will transfer everything incl the factory restore.

  • Hi. dose it have led backlight? e460 has led back light.

    • Are you talking about the screen, then yes. From the spec sheet: 15.6" (396mm) FHD (1920x1080) color, anti-glare, LED backlight, IPS, 250 nits, 16:9 aspect ratio

      • Thanks for your answer.

  • I see pick up and Courier delivery,
I dont see national delivery, Am I able to buy this and have delivered to 4511 (QLD) Please advise and if additional price (I see there is 2.5% for paypal so price getting up a bit)

    • I need express delivery to QLD, Must be delivered before Friday (overseas trip on weekend)
      Let me know if possible.

  • Got same i7 Lappy from JB HiFI today for $950 (their special is reduced from $1299 to $999)

Above deal with $40 delivery and 2.5% paypal made it a bit steep in pricing buy I understand why.
