Just signed up to the $60 plan a week ago. Great deal though.

  • $30 gets you a lot more than it did a year or two ago. Good stuff

  • Just activated a SIM with them yesterday. Missed out!!!

  • activated my sim a couple days ago on the $18 pennywise, been great so far

If you're interested in the $40 plan, Optus' old $60 My Plan Plus 12M Sim Only is still available at $40/mo if you simply contact chat/go into store and ask for it. Downside is 12m contract and no $10 off first month, upside is 2 extra GB a month & directly with Optus (not a reseller, better support, etc). Also stacks with 10% UNIDAYS discount, bringing the total down to $36 for students. Another $20 off if you bundle with a broadband service.

The second plan (15GB for $50) isn't half bad, though I'm not sure why someone would need 15GB when data-share sims aren't an option.

As for Jeenee mobile (price/value aside) their support is quite average and business techniques kinda shady. They'll bill you from the moment you first order the SIM - not the moment they send it out and far from the time you receive/activate it. After a ~15minute call they'll not-so-happily provide you a credit for the time between you ordering and receiving the sim (almost a week in my case), though that's only for customers who take the time to call up.

They aren't shady, just a bit disorganised
I had the opposite experience - I didn't get billed for 3 months

  • OP. Are these similar to prepaid plans. Looking for plan for my son and want to cap spend.

  • trying to find out which countries are included in 300 international minutes but cant seem to find anything on their website?

    CIS shows nothing.

  • Hi rep, looks like the coupon has expired?
