  I checked the picture to see what valve is used on this pack. Few years ago I purchased similar looking pack from Anaconda for $7. The pack itself is good, the bladder is fine, the valve is really a challenge to drink through. I have to chew on it, and suck the liquid out, even after making the opening bigger.
  
  After trying my mates more expensive alternative, I would opt for something with better valve, or upgrade the installed valve with better one.

    just picked it up, not the quality of camelback but seems sturdy and well made. Bladder works fine, valve is a little narrow. Has a small top pocket for a phone and wallet but not much more. Definitely worth the price
