$1199 when I just checked on the cuisinart website. Ordered one as I had a $15 credit emailed to me last night so $75 delivered. About time to throw out the student pots and pans from 1998.

  • Are these non stick?

    • +3

No - they are stainless steel though so perhaps better.

      • I have always used non stick, am I going to have a harder time cleaning these?

        • saucepans, they're easily cleaned, if it's bad, just soak them for an hour in detergent & hot water. Also they're dishwasher safe. OTOH frypans are terribly hard to clean. Coles has 26cm Tefal ones for $24 this week. I find it easier to buy & swap them over every 2yrs or so. Donate the old ones to the local kindy for the kids to play with.

The question is do you really need all those pans? We replaced 4 saucepans with just 2 Arcosteel (stainless steel with glass lids) ones about 3yrs ago and have never regreted it. I think we got them both for $40 an they still look new.

I have the next range up with stainless steel lids …. the multiclad pro …. they are a triple ply and just as good as my allclad from the USA which cost 4 x as much ….. I went with the multiclad pro due to a pouring lid …. had the sent over from the USA for $420 a set ….. these chef ultimate are a great into into Tri-clad cookware ….. non stick ….. no but read Google for all clad and they tell you how to cook with stainless so things don't stick …… pity I missed out on this offer….. would have got some extra. salsa Google Demetyre also for how to cook on stainless without it sticking
