  • Cheers OP, but what's the deal with the $15 coupon? Are you referring to the referral credit?

Any idea what the difference is between the pro 500 & the 1000 models? Looks like the 1000 model indicates when you're applying too much pressure with your brushing, by way of a light, for approx. $40 more?

    • I think it's targeted offer. Spend $30 get $15 off. I have seen on previous posts, people were able to get $15 off when they added items to cart.

      • Cheers but didn't seem to work for me.

Combined with warnings re COTD peddling fakes, I might wait till shavershop have another deal on either the 500 or 1000 models.

  • Beware of purchasing any OralB brushheads or related products from COTD. They sent me a fake one and later when I complained they issued refund, please check online on how to identify fake OralB products.

      How can you tell?
      Have you got a link?

      • My first hint was when the brush head just felt flimsy and the metal bit came out after 2-3 uses. The discoloration of bristle which is an indicator of changing the head, usually doesn't work in Fake ones.
I also checked online, there are a few websites that compare the fake with original. you can also compare it with the original ones in Coles or woollies.
This link should get you started, if you want to identify, if it feels flimsy and an usually good bargain it might be fake

        • the toothbrush head comes in the box together with the base unit. If the brushhead is fake there, then the whole thing is fake - highly unlikely to include toothpaste and rinse as well

        • +2

@SergeyAU: agree it is unlikely for this particular set. I just don't trust COTD anymore after they clearly sent me fake product and recognized it buy saying they don't and can't check all the imported products. Basically there way of saying, they grey import shit load of stuff and can't check if everything is genuine..

  • $39.80 + postage is what COTD sells it for. I got $10 store credit applied. If you are still on trial for catch club like I am, spend a bit more and you also get free post
Great price, considering how much the actual toothbrush is sold for ($79.99 in chemist warehouse. They sell this kit for $69.99)

  • Arrived today. Compared it against some of the websites/resources I found and the brush head seems legit.
