  • can anyone comment on the retractable hose reel? Looking to get some as the hose is often left on the ground.

    • I bought one about 18 months ago. Still going strong. I would buy again for the other side of the house.

    • Thanks for the question, and also 'ozmu's' reply, as I've been on the lookout for a retractable hose. Given the reply looks like I'll be a Repco on Thursday …..

  • So is that 2 CBs … ??

I'm guessing it's just one because it's a singular "radio"
      Normally they'dsay twin pack.

Supacheap has a twin pack for $35

      • Perfect, thanks! Terrible advertising, might try and strongarm them into giving me 2! :)

It's not clear but i'm 90% sure it is a single unit. The RRP of the twin pack is $60.

As supabrudda mentioned the Supercheap offer is cheaper for two.

The ad says the model number is PMR780-1BL. All I could find online is model PMR780, and that seems to be a twin pack.

Edit: And it has 1/2W power - so short distances only.

  • Subaru Car Cruise this weekend. CBs would come in handy

  • Will this be good for quad biking? I know it may not be the best but it's probably better than nothing. What will happen in emergency, I believe there's a channel for that.

    • There are channels for emergency use and volunteers monitor them, but I would not rely on it at all!

  • Could someone give the store a call and find out. I lost my voice and can't talk

  • Thanks MM, might get the Oricom UHF CB Radio
