**Officeworks seems to hold very little stock, however harvey norman is still a great price!

    Decent deal. However, I bought the ixus 120is though (from Digital Fun Stuff in Sydney - great store BTW) for about $250 and it's IMO a better camera (+ a better looker). So depends if you want to pay another $50 for a better camera.

        They must have put the price up since I bought it - I had a look at the receipt last night and it was $256 to be exact (I bought it in March). Mind you, a fair few places sell it for around $250 or below these days - http://www.shopbot.com.au/pp-canon-digital-ixus-120-is-price…

        I think it's worth the $50 or so over the ixus 150is, but personal opinion only of course.

          yeh there might be… but the best i found was $270 for the blue 120.. the grey was $260… this was at Ryda.

          anyways, best to buy now cos u got a good chance of the ipod. you missed out in march!

      they ask you to cut the serial out.

      i just cut the whole white box out of the side of the box and photocopied the receipt and attached the printed email.

      it worked as they said they are processing my request after a valid entry.

        So they notify you via email after they recieve it do they? Can I ask how long it took for them to process it?

        Also, in regards to the comments about the generation of the Nano (which seem to have disappeared), from what I understand, only the 5th gen has a polished aluminium body, so I would be expecting a 5th gen.

        It doesn't make sense that they'd source 1000 old nano's (unless apple oz has a spare 1000 old new nano's).

    I think the best time to do the registration is at like 12am + (i.e. At 1am at night/early morning). This is because i tried registered another IXUS at 5pm in the afternoon and i failed to win. Then last night i tried registering my other IXUS at 2am and i won. So i just think register early in the morning and you'll have a good chance because the Ipods allocated for that day probably haven't been given away!

      yup. bought the camera on 1 May and sent the required documents in on the same day. just got the confirmation email. States that "a further advice will be sent when your claim is ready for dispatch." yay!

    i didnt get a dispatch notification, i just got home yesterday to find mine had been delivered.

    was delivered by courier who wanted someone to sign for it (wife was with kids doing some gardening in front yard and signed for it)

    all in all, very very happy with it for the price :)

        I'm pretty sure it is the current gen one comparing it to my sisters 5th gen. I am selling mine so i haven't opened the package, but based off the LCD size its 5th gen cause i understand 4th gen is smaller.

    I got my ipod yesterday! (well I picked it up from the post office today) I sent the registration on 3 May, got confirmation on 7th May, it arrived on 14th May. I wasn't home yesterday to receive it, but a note on the package says to card it and leave it at the nearest post office for collection.

      Thanks for telling us that, I sent mine a bit earlier, so I just went to check the mailbox and it turns out that my family had left the card in there with the junk mail as I had suspected. Too bad the post office isn't open on weekends.

    Been using this a bit over the last week and the image quality is not really that great, compared to my 5 year old Canon PowerShot A610 (5MP). There is not as much detail and the pictures are softer. I tested image quality between 5MP/8MP/12MP settings and not that much difference…seems like they cram in the megapixels and that looks good on paper, but it doesn't say anything about the image quality. They don't make em like they used to!
