Hello BluBoy! Kill Ping actually provides a dedicated route to its users for the game connection. Your normal ISP connection route is stretched out and has data packets of different sorts. Whereas, Kill Ping's dedicated routes are highly optimized for gamers to get a direct connection to the game servers. It contains only the gaming data packets and is not cluttered like a normal connection. It improves the traffic of gaming data packets enhancing the ping rate, removing lag and also decreasing the packet loss.
with Aus servers is there really a noticeable difference between a ping of 40 and a ping of 32 (20% less)?
To be really honest with you, 40ms and 32ms is a decent ping rate. Reducing it further is possible but hard as the percentage decrease becomes huge and margin of improvement shrinks. Even a 5ms reduction in ping rate of 32ms might not be big in number but in percentage it becomes more than 15% improvement.
I play overwatch. I don't notice any lag. You don't need this service if you are an AUstralian player.

these ping services are not useful anymore since most games have local servers. but $2.30 is not bad for a ping servuces if u need to play or if ur in Western Aus that has shitty routing to east coast.
I wouldn't brag about Kill Ping here but it has been delivering great results. I can only say that you will see the difference of the performance, when you use Kill Ping. =)
Sure it's a nice deal if servers are in the US but anybody with technical knowledge will know that local servers are more than enough for us here in Aus.

As far as the technical knowledge is concerned, sometimes the game servers are not the culprit, the internet connection also causes all sorts of trouble. Plus, not everyone plays on local servers. For competitive gaming, gamers tend to play on other game server regions to practice against other teams or gamers. I have played on US, European and Asian regions but didn't see the Australian server in BETA. Now, I'm mostly playing on EU servers, I prefer that region.

I still don't understand what this product does. How exactly does it lower your ping? How do you change your traffic route? You still have to go through your ISP's nodes and exchanges, what exactly is this product offering?
You are right about going through ISP nodes and exchanges. What Kill Ping does is that when you are playing through Kill Ping, you connect to the game server through our proxy server. Meaning, your gaming data is taken off your normal ISP route where you connect with our proxy server. Then your gaming data travels on our gaming dedicated networks which has less hops and is highly optimized to reach the game server with the minimum ping rate possible.
For example, a user in Australia wants to play on US game server. Without Kill Ping his gaming data will travel all the way to US server through the normal ISP route, which will be having a lot of nodes and exchanges causing delays and all sorts of data packets of streaming, browsing, downloading etc causing the traffic to clutter. Whereas, if the Australian gamer connects through Kill Ping Australian proxy servers to play on US game servers, the gaming data is re-routed through our servers in Australia. This way the gaming data will only travel on the normal ISP route until it reaches the proxy server, which is placed in the same country. Hence, Kill Ping optimized network will save your from a lot of things including delays, high ping rate and disconnections.
