I'm looking to travel to that side of the world and that is about the best I can find too even though I don't intend to travel until April 2017. The good thing seems to be though you can hop around major European cities for 50-70 dollars…

  • Great deal! It's a shame none are available over uni holidays. Oh well, that's probably why they're on sale

Try and get in the A380 flights from MEL and SYD. Beats the 10 across 777 any day

but its Ethiad, the cheap and nasty no frills version of Emirates

    • +3

      There's always one..

    • +5

Emirates? You mean the cheap and nasty no frills versiom of Etihad?

    • +1

Etihad being cheap and nasty?!? Is that a joke. Whether you fly Emirates, Qatar or Etihad - you're in for a good flight.

All of them have won world awards for service and as one who flew them all, I can say that the service is right on point.

  • Thanks OP, all booked! As students we needed to purchase ISIC Student Cards. STA informed us that we couldn't book flights without these card which cost $30 each.

    • Trust me, that card is gold in Europe. Student discounts everywhere for you! And you! and you!

    • FYI - I went to an Australian travel agent (one of the big chains) about an ISIC card and usually you have to be at a tertiary institution, but the travel agent was cheeky and suggested that 'online education or distance education providers' would "slide" with requirements for a card.
