  There's some rather negative reviews for these headphones on Amazon.com:

  The very shallow depth of the ear pads as mentioned and shown in the top review would be enough to turn me off these at almost any price.

    Have a pair, they are fine for comfort and alright for sound. The biggest drawback is range when listening in other rooms but I don't think that's the main use.

        I bought 2 lounges which i had for over a year. The leather started to peel off both in the same area. Took them back for a full refund.
        Wifes friend bought a rolled pork which was off. Got full refund then cancelled her membership with 1 month left for a full refund.

    Strange. Canberra & Brisbane have this price. It should be all Costco stores.
