  • Stonking good deal compared to buying iPhone outright

  • As someone that works for a company with a physical Australian presence, that regularly send Kogan stock, I strongly suspect these are NOT grey imports, yet marketed that way as a part od tgeir contractual conditions in order to secure this pricing from Samsung Australia, to protect their artificially inflated pricing.

    • +3

But you still dont have 2 years Australia warranty. That's the only difference for almost any grey import I think

  • It's very annoying they can't confirm which chip their Galaxy S7 has. I'm only after Exynos but not knowing. No thanks.

    • Wouldn't touch the Exynos with a stick, that is if you are after updates/custom dev.

      • I'm all about battery so I'm sticking with Exynos

        • Wait for the Note 6 then……… Seems very small margins of gain for a very unsupported (dev) chipset. Most of which you could get wins from custom kernels etc. But each to their own!

        • @sridhar: you should see the XDA forums flooded after each update. Users of exynos saying they got up to 8 hours sot, now lucky to get 3 with Android system chewing through. Only exynos btw, no updates incoming yet as exynos is the smaller group compared to international s820. Never rely on Samsung.

        • @OnlinePred:

mm..actually Exynos is the international version. It's folks in US that get the SD820 versions.

I have no battery issues whatsoever with my Exynos S7 Edge with the latest software.

        • @sridhar: They will come (evil laugh)

  • Maybe try buying using the credit card that allows extended warranty. Maybe commbank credit card.

  • This is a good price :P

Need to resist, one does not need more than 6 phones…

  • Qualcomm or Exynos?

Also is there band 28 or not? Listing 700mhz alone isn't sufficient Kogan.

  • Is anyone who purchased an s7 edge from kogan able to confirm this is legitimate? How risky is buying a grey import phone? Also which processor does your device have?
    Thanks
