  I'm glad I cancelled my order for the Hydrofoil when it was just $94.
  Now even at $64, I'm having second thoughts.

  The "hydrofoil" amounts to a floating shell for the quadcopter. You can't "launch" from it. Compared to say a Eachine X8 on banggood for ~$20, the only advantage here is the shell, and it being local.

    True, I bought a Hubsan X4 instead for a learner drone.
    Better in everyway, ie. no propriety battery, cheaper drone, cheaper parts.
    The only convenience I can see from the Parrot drones are that you can controller it with an app on your phone where as the cheaper brands require the use of the dedicated controller.
