The user must at least subscribe to the 1 year membership at USD9.99 to start using the data. Great App for users who will be travelling abroad (please check the coverage in the website http://web.flexiroamx.com/).
Obviously the App is new so the App can be buggy (I do not know, not for me at least), give it a bit of time.

Updates from merged deal.
The company seems to have extended the expiry date to 30th June due to the popularity and feedback they got from the customers. My opinion is to start download the app, collect free datas while you can, then subscribe 1 year membership for USD9.99 when you are scheduled to travel (subscribe 1-2 weeks earlier to allow the sim paste to be delivered to you).
Follow the steps below to unlock additional 100MB FREE data while putting me as referral code only when you subscribe (so put in anyway, otherwise you would not have that additional 100mb when you subscribe to use the data)
- First download the app - http://www.flexiroamx.com/
- Register account with MOD: Referral code removed (get additional free 100mb data when you subscribe now or next time)
- Go to unlock free data and use the Promo Code XLAUNCH to get free 500mb data (only available till 30th June)

Sounds good … but given its a chip that sits on top of your existing sim card can only be trouble if the app doesnt interface correctly. It would effectively mean you are using your existing sim for data etc. Also I wonder if you dont have global roaming on your sim card whether this would still work.
Im going to hunt for some reviews.
Reasonable price though.
