    Good thing👍🏾

  • interesting.. wonder how much they charge considering auspost charges 7.50 for same state delivery for small items and 10.50 for large items

Yeah, there are other similar services that are around $15 for same day delivery. The fact that these guys don't have any listed prices and want a credit card just to sign up is an easy no for me.

Edit: Let's be honest, once/if Uber Rush starts here there isn't going to much point unless this is a lot cheaper.

    • I guess this difference this would be direct to you, and same day.

"GoFetch operates using a peer-to-peer platform and therefore does not require its own bikes, cars or vans. By connecting people who are already on the move with others that need items delivered, we reduce the overall costs of deliveries. We pass these savings directly to you, allowing GoFetch to provide the best value delivery rates possible. We are cheaper than most traditional couriers and our average fetch price was $8.25 in December 2015."

Average price being $8.25 doesnt sound too bad for immediate delivery. but I would assume if you want longer distances this option would be more costly.

      • I was talking about similar courier services like Fastway which is $10 in Melbourne offering pickup/drop off. There's other apps like Sherpa that offer similar services(I like the idea with Sherpa that they purchase and deliver the item if you want).

Not being upfront about pricing. Booo.

  • Like a cut-down version of Sherpa. Good for earning a few bucks if you're a 'fetcher' but inner city suburbs cuts out most potential for business. Same model as Deliveroo and Foodora not using employees but 'contractors', I wouldn't trust them with anything expensive or important. $200 insurance is pretty low too. Ideally you want a guarantee of delivery times too.

  • great idea. wonder how the pricing would be?

  • Yeah..pricing matters. I'm guessing it has to be cheaper than austpost or fastway
