Exactly! don't expect chicken breast in your nuggets.

      • +3

Uh, but they are usually made of chicken breast… it's just America and like home brand ones that are not. Educate yourself before making claims and hurting the feelings of my previous nuggets.

  • +1

This is a good deal! Get with sweet mustard sauce for flouro pee party tricks

  • Is it actually nationwide this time? WA got left out last time :(

    • Just tried in SA. Not available apparently. They said it's a Victoria promotion

      • It's not the 29th of June yet…

  • -8

Not available Cockburn Central in WA - "we don't do that here…"

    • +5

What happens at 'cockburn central' should stay at cockburn central…

    • So has anyone confirmed its available in WA?

    • Wait..what? There's a place called cockburn central? Really?? ;)

  • +1

Such a long wait! I don't know if I can hold for that long…..

  • -6

If you knew what went into these, you wouldn't be so keen to eat them!

    • +4

They say its chicken breast and skin on their website.

    • +1

Go on then, tell us exactly what you think is in them. I'm sure you'll excuse the fact that i'm more likely to believe the company making the product than a guy on a forum called "CH33ZEBURG3R".

    • reconstituted meat or breast cuts?

  • +10

Does anyone know where the sauces are made?

    • Canada, aye? or was it china?

      • New ones say China. I can't really taste much difference in the change though

        • +9

          Hepatitis has no recognizable taste.

        • @woolfenstein: I don't think so, it can't survive long enough in packaged up sauces to contract it.

        • +3

@supnigs: Damn, so much for my plan to inflict Hepatitis on my worst enemies using the seemingly benign gift of nuggets / chinese death sauce.

      • +2

        CHINA!!!

"People say I don't like China. I love China" - msjb

      • +1

LOL Too funny! The simple reality is this… The nuggets dipping sauces now all suck and a sad comparison of the original formulas. Don't understand why they were changed other than Maccas cutting costs despite not staying true to their business practices of keeping taste of food concistent years and years over. The new dipping sauces happen to be made in China.

  • But at HJ you can get 10 nuggets and large chips for $4.95… this is a rip off

    • +10

Downside to that is you have to eat Hungry Jacks nuggets

      • maccers have the tastiest nuggest of the chains imo
but HJ has the best dipping sauce (spicy creamy one)

  • +5

The best part about this deal is the dipping sauces. Too bad the nuggets are Made in North Korea.

    • +1

      Made in North Korea.

      que?

    • reallly? i dont think so

      • +1

Go back to page 1, Control+F for "msjb", and you'll get the references.

BTW - thanks for your comment - you reminded me this deal is active today! Winner winner chicken nugget dinner!

  • +2

    still 3 more weeks… such a tease

  • I got the 5 for $5.95 from HJ's last week, it is a double cheeseburger, 3 nuggets, fries, drink and icecream. Last time I went to Mcdonalds I bought a Bigmac and came with free fires and drink but it is not available anymore.

    • +1

I bought a Bigmac and came with free fires and drink

I never knew Big Macs burned, they definitely dont burn calories though!

  • Shame the sauces are now made in China. Make them $2.00 instead of that if need be…. No way in hell would I eat sauce made in China.

    • +1

      Agreed!

China, fine for cheap plastic crap, but no way will I eat any form of food from there.

Read the fine print on the back on the dipping sauce: *Manufactured in a facility that also processes dash-cams, eneloops and usb powerbanks.

  • So my friend showed the person at Maccas something on the phone and she was able to get 24 nuggets for $10 already

    • +2

      What was it?

      • -1

Probably a hot pic of herself =p

As a male, if I tried that I'd get escorted out lol

  • Still no word if its available to us in the West?

    • I would say it is. The page on the employee portal about this launch doesn't specify states

  • +1

    Is this deal confirmed?

  • Tomorrow is the day, can't wait…

  • My body is ready for this deal. I really hope this is happening tmrw!

  • +2

Deal link updated to McDonald's Facebook post that was made at midnight, confirming the deal that ldn0607 shared.

  • +1

i wonder i can finish all of them by myself?

    • +2

I find your comment ironic, given your username haha

  • Great deal, but which one is the best? KFC/HJ/MCD/REDROOSTER?

    • +1

      McD

      • In that case I will give this a shot again. It's been many years since I had mcnuggets.

Last time for nuggets was HJ vouchers 4.95 for 10 nug and large fries. That was the best for me so far! KFC gotta try again couldn't remember, maybe not so good thats why :P

haven't try red roosters ones yet.

    • +2

Bowl of vegetables? In with negs hahahaha

    • KFC, taste like real meat

  • 50 nug challenge coming up

  • +2

Two resolutions this morning after seeing my bank account and where a lot of my money was being spent. Stop using OzBargain as much and improve my diet. Yep going great so far.

    • +1

but seriously, how many did you buy after posting that comment?

  • I value my health too much to eat this much crap.

    • your body will thank you for that decision!

  • How many sauces do you get?

    • +1

      4 for free

Got my nuggets and eating them as I type with two greasy hands

      • (profanity) yeah. Just barely squeezed it into MyfitnessPal with sauce. If I go for a 15 minutes jog.

Let's hope they don't run out by 4:30.

      • that's Livin the dream! i am also typing with greasy sausage roll hands

    • -2

….chinese sauces? im not sure id want any…. :P

  • -1

Any GMO corn/maize in it ? Are they RPSPCA approved chooks ?

  • I feel the need for nuggets!

  • +1

How do we know which participating stores there are?

  • -1

…i read somewhere that the sauces are now made in china….? any truth to that…??

    • they used to be served in china….. dishes

  • how many calories would 24 nuggets be

    • 1128 calories for 24,no sauces which isn't to bad

      • -2

not too bad…? dead calories. virtually no nutritional benefit

takes 3-4 hours vigorous bike riding to burn off those 1000 calories….

        • You wouldn't be eating these Nuggets if you were already at maintainance calories. We can talk about exercising on a bike like all any food and even including healthy food . You realise He/she asked me how many calories and I answered, no one mentioned it was healthy, you did.

        • you could eat these everyday and not put on a single pound if your below maintenance haha but yeah no nutrition at all

  • Do a nugget count, I got scammed. There was only 18 in mine.

    • +1

your body thanks you by 25%

  • +1

Got 19 nuggets in the box, lucky was eating in the store, went back and complained, they gave me another box instead, counted that also, there were 20 inside that one.

    • +1

does that mean you ended up with 39, or just 20? Not sure whether this is a happy or sad story!

    • they gave me another box instead, counted that also

Lol, so what would you have done if the second box was also short?

      • +2

It was short - there's supposed to be 24 in each box. Obviously the care factor behind the counter drops considerably

      • We ended up with 39 and couldn't finish. The point was that they don't pack 24 nuggets in the boxes, which I don't think is right. I had to go back to complain, they only needed to give another 5, but they were generous in giving another box even though I only wanted 5. But that box if not provided to me, would have been short to another customer, so not great in that aspect.

  • Thanks OP. Nuggets were tasty and crispy. I choose 4 sweet and sour dips. But those weren't as nice as Aldi's sweet chilli sauce in my opinion. The Maccas sweet and sour dips were just sour but alright. So maybe if someone wanted to. Just bring your own dipping sauce lol. Aldi's sauce $1.99

    • -2

      ….sauce. china. etc

  • -1

Got this deal at the drive through the other day. I thought they would put all the nuggets in one big box but they made up 4 of the 6 packs. It meant that the nuggets cooled down faster during transport. The didn't ask me whether I wanted sauce, just put in 4 sweet and sour packs. At least it was fairly easy to figure out whether they put the correct amount of nuggets in.

    • We used to put all 24 nuggets in one big box. But Mcdonalds under estimated the demand and have run out off all the boxes made. So they have advised stores to use four of the 6 nuggets boxes.

      • -1

….or is it easier for the staff to count up to 6 accurately?

my advice is count your nuggets peeps!
