GoPro Hero4 Silver

Get it quick before they jack the price up like the rest of the eBay stores did with their GoPro's…

Not the best price they have ever been, but right now, and with click and collect, it's the best deal I've seen in months. And for those of us travelling in winter it's a good time to buy.

  • Does TGG accept returns for a change of mind?

    • Return policy
      Item must be returned within
      30 days after the buyer receives it

      I'd assume so, unopened.

      • This is a snippet form their website:

        Refund Policy
        We will provide refunds pursuant to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (the “Act”) namely, if the goods you purchased:

        Are not of merchantable quality;
        Are not fit for its purpose;
        Do not match the sample.

        Hence i was wondering if anyone has managed to get a refund for a change of mind?

        • Change of mind returns are at the discretion of the store/store manager. I've had plenty of luck with big retailers in the past.

          And if that doesn't work, try a different store. As for eBay, no clue, would be case by case basis.

    • They will give you store credit.

  • My wife got me a Hero4 silver for 325 with 50 dollar Ebay voucher last year, so really about 275 or something…… AWESOME!!!

        Hey douche bag, don't hate me coz you aint me!

  • Spend less than half as much and get an action camera with the same or better specs from banggood or gearbest.

      A good thing about Gopro's is if they are kept in good condition, they hold their value very well. I've seen used Gopro Hero 4 Silvers go for over $400 and were well-used.

      And a plentiful aftermarket, software and accessories.

      No argument there are better and cheaper cameras out there. But Gopro's are the standard.

      • Completely agree. Just writing as I did wish I knew about it when I first bought a gopro Silver.

        Nearly all of them do accept the same accessories and most have the same shape as the gopro.

        Lots of video comparisons on YouTube, been really impressed with my GITUP, SJCAMs seem to fare really well also. So definitely worth looking to as an option

        Also, compatible accessories from ebay are usually pretty good quality, so worth checking them out as well!

      Specs on paper and performance IRL are often quite different. Especially on products from sites like banggood or gearbest.

        You can always check youtube reviews. They usually do a side by side comparison so you can makeup your mind.

          I think the banggood/GB cameras are aimed at a different target market. People who buy GP4 Blacks usually buy it for a good reason, like good dynamic range, low light sensitivity, Protune, HFR, high bitrate video, sharp lens, etc. The GP4 Silver is pretty good too.

        • @eug:
          While that might be the case with the xiaomi (~$90), the video quality on my GITUP 2 (~$190) is on par with the hero 4 silver. And the new SJCAMs (~$200) seem to beat it on video plus they have GYRO and a bunch of other features.

  • Price jacked!

    • How so? It's 20% off 525/675.
