  • Just bought GoPro Hero 4 Silver. $420.

Yes they were going for under $400 a while ago, but this is by far the cheapest you can get it for right now.

    • Good price.bestvprice was $320 a while back. It was part of eBay daily deal and there was a code floating around too that worked.

      • Yeah, I was one of the lucky ones that got it at that price. Pretty sure it was a DSE deal. Haven't even used the gopro since though lol.

        • That was it.
Got one too… Used it a few times but as much as thought.

          Another ozbargain impulsive buy.

Braun TS765ATP TexStyle 7, got this in the last 20% eBay deal, very happy.

    • -1

Probably should be asking the ladies bro

    • I need a new iron too. Looked at reviews for all the ones that TGG sell starting from the cheapest and they all have terrible ratings until you get to the Brauns as Hayness mentioned above. I'm looking at getting the TS715A TexStyle for $99 (79.20).

  • awesome! now what should i buy? hmm lol

  • Would i be eligible for samsung vr if i buy s7 with this deal from GG?

    • +1

Yes, any Australian sourced (as opposed to grey market) S7. Also gets you a proper 2 year warranty.

Get your Gear VR then sell on eBay for $100 like everyone else!

    • TGG credit? No

    • You can't. You are purchasing via ebay.

Get a bosch or a miele. Nothing less unless you want to buy another in <3 years time

      • Not on ebay

    • I'm looking at getting the Bosch SMS88TI01A for $1193 + $60 delivery. I was looking at an entry-level Miele for about the same price. This Bosch is apparently their "flagship" dishwasher

Just a suggestion to keep an eye on your PayPal transaction. Picked up something for $194, coupon code worked, clearly said they were charging me $155, clicked Pay Now and what do you know, my card was charged the full $194. A call to PayPal who relentlessly blamed eBay finally led to a credit being issued (which hasn't happened yet) but you might want to keep an eye on your transaction.

    • +3

      Yep happened to me too

      • Bummer. Definitely seems to be a glitch there. I specifically checked and noted that it said it was charging $155.20 to my card. Confirmed on my banking app they in fact charged the full amount. When I called they said it's an issue with the code, so contact eBay. I told them PAYPAL said they were going to charge me one amount, and then PAYPAL charged me a different amount, so I think it's a PAYPAL problem. He eventually investigated and sure enough, "there seems to be a glitch". They have now credited me the difference (actually a little more).

        • Funny, when I called eBay they told me that my PayPal and eBay accounts need to be linked for the coupon to work. Their solution was to cancel the order and re-order..

        • @viggenn:

Weird, I've had no issues with any of the other 20% off codes over the last few months. And the code seemed to apply fine this time too until after I'd clicked Pay Now.

    • When i read this, i went and logged into paypal to check. I panicked because on the "Recent activity" page it listed my purchases and in each case the full amount was shown. But if you click on the transaction and drill down, there is a section called "Funding source" and it shows that some of the amount was funded from the CLICK20 promotion and the rest was from my balance. phew !

      • Yeah I remember the very first time I used one of these codes I did the same. Receipt came and was for the full amount, I panicked until I saw the breakdown. So I assumed it would be the same this time, but when the breakdown appeared to indicate that they charged the full amount, I checked my bank account and confirmed they took the full amount.

    • Same happened to me. I haven't called them yet, I sent an email, raised via their portal. May be will call them tomorrow. It worked for one transaction, and glitched for another.

      • I'm lazy so I nearly let it slide for the sake of $40. But I'd been specifically waiting since the last Good Guys 20% off to get a particular item I was in no rush for, so if I wanted to pay the full price, I could have done so a few weeks ago. The fact I waited made me determined to get my discount. :)

      • Same here, just got off online chat with eBay, they identified the problem & sorted the credit out in a few minutes; only problem is that I've gotta wait 10-15 days for the refund, but it's in the pipeline & I don't have to do anything further, so I'm placated. ;)

    • Thanks for posting this, happened to me too.

What bad timing just bought my heater last week at bunnings :(

    • +1

What sort of heater you bought? Any suggestions? I never bought any heaters. Now that I have newborn, we need it. Looking for heater that is cheap to run. Budget up to $100

      • +3

AFAIK all stand-alone heaters are not cheap to run but if you only need to heat a small room or a localised area than they work out cheaper. I prefer oil-filled column heaters because they are (a) quiet, (b) retain the heat better, (c) you can warm towel or other cotton clothes on them. I would avoid fan heaters as they dry the air too much, create static and cause you to wait up with a sore throat and a blocked nose - definitely, not for a newborn. Here's one I'm happy to recommend:

        • Thanks mate! Much helpful

  • Are we able to use TGG EFTPOS Cards? I received a EFTPOS card from a previous TGG deal that you can use at any brick and mortar retailer, but I'm not sure if it's possible to use it on online purchases. Has anyone tried this?

    • I don't think so, only if you can setup paypal to use the TGG EFTpos card.
