      It's still a good camera,but there's better options if zoom is a priority

  Shame Myer keep all their prices up at RRP. The Adelaide store I believe have the Panasonic FZ1000 at $1199 which only drops to $975. Most other stores have it at $999 so will be cheaper with their discounts.
