Bought this vacuum about a year ago and paid close to $300 I think.

Goes pretty well and gets the job done.

Expect to replace all filters within a year ($25-30). The vacuum started to struggle a bit and when I checked the filters, the washable HEPA filter plastic housing had started to warp and bent out of shape.

    • thanks for the info.

I'm sure the filters will last longer if they are cleaned every few months. Probably my bad.

  • This deal really sucks !!!

    • Can you please let us know why

      • Nothing sucks like Electrolux

      • whooooosh

I bought one of these and it overheated. Electrolux were useless in helping me, please read the reviews on Productreview if you are really considering this.

I agree. Got one myself ~ 3 years ago as Electrolux has a long term and decent reputation.
Mine overheated/died after using about 12 times & of course just over the one year warranty period.

*I'd only get this IF the warranty could be doubled/tripled for reasonable $$$ AND I'd use the HELL out of it in order to 'test' its durability during the warranty period.

KEEP the receipt if you buy this folks. Sadly I don't know that Electrolux vacuums are what they used to be. I recall doing research afterwards and finding that the Electrolux vacuums run VERY hot. I only ran the machine for an average of around 20 minutes each time.

I should add that only this past week I noticed that someone had left an Electrolux vacuum out near the road. It looked to be a very new model - red and shiny.

I'd bet it was less than 2 years old. This may or may not be a good price for this vacuum - spend what you save on extra warranty if available should you purchase is my advice.
And as I said - use the living hell out of it well inside the warranty period!
      ***KEEP THE RECEIPT!

Thanks for the detailed info. I will make sure to hang on to the receipt as I have already purchased and too late to change mind I guess.

        • Most welcome. Hope it treats you better than mine did me! ;o)

  • This one seem to be coming with 2 year Manufacturers warranty.

    • Very glad to hear this.
