Last time I used this for charge my Nokia, it resulted in killing the phone battery. Ever since then, the phone keep reporting the battery power is low. Sometime it even cut me off in the middle of a call.

Anyone experience this before with these type of product?

Bought one of these off eBay. The product looks identical in the photo. It could only charge my phone if a 1.5v battery was used (alkaline, heavy duty, etc). 1.2v batteries like NiMH would make the 'charging' indicator active on my phone and it would claim to be recharged, but the charge available was very low and used up within hours.

Yes, I did make sure the NiMH batteries were high quality and charged.
