  • It takes just over an hour each way.

Wyndham Harbour to Docklands

Docklands to Wyndham Harbour

Days Depart Arrive

Due to low passenger numbers which is probably due to the price + longer commute + Melbourne not a harbor city like Sydney etc. etc. this ferry will probably not last too long. 3AW

Now that's what I call flogging a dead horse.

  • is it travel free only this friday 10th
    or every friday ?

    • This Friday only but given the low passenger numbers I wouldn't be surprised if we see future free days.

  • should be doing more trips..

  • This ferry would be far more useful if:

The fare was $10 return daily.
It took 45 - 50 minutes to the CBD.

    Sigh.

  • You can see what they are trying to do with this ferry. Unfortunately the travel time and cost is a pretty massive turn off.

Trains from Werribee station (which is around 5km away from the harbor) takes around 45 mins to Southern Cross, which is next to Docklands. One way fare costs $3.90 in place of whooping $13 of this service or $7.80 in place of $20. Parking spots would be available at the station before 7.10am as well.
I don't seen any reason why someone would take this service.
