Nintendo Wii Remote + Nunchuck - $17.46US (approx $19.2 AUD) - Free Shipping

Possibly the Japanese model or a counterfeit, but it should be fine as an additional controller for when friends come around, so $20 may be worth the risk. It's from a farily reputable site but will likely be delivered from Hong Kong like DX.

They also have motion plus for about the same price.

Assuming this is the the same store their feedback score is over 200,000 on eBay:

Looks like the Official ones have 'Official' in the title.
I think these ones would be copies, but like you said; should be good if a mate comes round & doesn't know what's Official.

Plus you wouldn't need to use it as often. I have one I bought three years ago on eBay. You can tell on close inspection that the quality isn't as great, but after three years it still goes well.

      Seriously I would buy this if I didn't already have 4 wiimotes…

  • yes…should be china's product….i heard it works but a little bit worst than offical one(less sensitvie)

Bought them before- they have different sounds compared to the official 1's. Stopped working after 2 months. Fails to sync after turning off the wii and turning it back on. I recommend sticking with legit. These fake variations can actually freeze your games (happened in HOTD:Overkill). Doesn't work with wii motion+

    • Sounds like the fake one I got from GadgetGear.com.au. But they exchanged with a genuine one for me after complaining.

  • yeah looks ok. i got 5 wiimotes now. i bought a wiimote off ebay from hong kong. got it 3 weeks later. didnt turn on. batteries needed forcing to get in. wouldnt even turn on or sync. paypal got it all back for me. :D but lesson is dont buy electronics from hong kong

    • electronics from Hong Kong is ok but only from reputable retailer, not those buddies in ebay (or DX) that will sell you 100% counterfeit products.
