PlayStation Plus US 1 Year (US $37) ~ $52 @ Gameflip

140

Prices based on current Paypal Conversion rate $1AUD = $0.712USD

Gameflip is basically an ebay equivalent for gaming based in the US. They use an Eskrow system so that all funds are held with Gameflip until you leave feedback (3 days to do so). If you open a dispute, the funds will frozen and the transaction will be investigated. Signup requires a phone number for a 1 time verification code for fraud protection reasons.

Have used them before, and this particular user has decent feedback ~ 7055 Positive, 22 Neutral, 47 Negative.

User also uses auto-delivery: key will be sent once purchase is confirmed by the system.

Xbox Live out of stock

You can use my referral code if you wish at signup: TEU4X5

US$1 will be credited to both referrer and referee's account. New accounts only.

  • Do you need to use a USA PSN account, for USA PS+ subscriptions?
And do you need to use a VPN on your PS4 console?

Or will this work out of the box for AU PS4's, with AU PSN accounts??

(I know because the Xbox and it's Live services are very locked down. The PS3 was much more open, but not sure if things have changed)

    • Yep you'll need a US PSN account (which a lot of users seem to have 1 of due to its seemingly better value in terms of benefits)

      More info on whirlpool

      • Maybe better value a couple of years ago when the dollars were close to parity, but not so much now days. That said they still have much better sales than EU/AU.

        • a Canadian account is where it's at. Usually same listed price as US store, but with a dollar that is close to parity with AU.

  • XBL was recently $85-$90 for 24 months so kinda hard to see $50 for 12 months as a deal

    • Microsoft stopped supplying those now, according to Warehouse1. eBay resellers have also jacked up the price of 24 month codes to $120.

    More like fraud authorisation reasons….

  • Cool, time to stack PS+, thanks Op

  • WARNING!!:
If you previously used an AU ps+ and downloaded free games with it, you won't be able to access them if you have a ps+ on your US account. I think this is because the games are in the library of the AU but not the US account. This means you can't play games like Rocket Leaugue, 2k16 or Broforce if you got them for free. I found out the hard way, please learn from me. There wasn't anything on the Whirlpool thread mentioned above that i found regarding this.
    :(
EDIT: All too late, i found a comment:

    This is my understanding…

Any games you bought will still be available and you should be able to play them via your AU account as long as the PS4 is added as the primary console. Any games you got as a result of the Plus subscription will expire and will not be playable.

    • Yeah sorry to hear that. Unlike Xbox, PSN policy has made it that PS+ is tied to the account itself, rather than the home console as well as in the case of Xbox.
