  • Exactly what I need. The BigW one doesn't have the threads.

      • Bought the last one at Mirrabooka

Is there an opposite one, as in a converter from two taps into one? Both the kitchen and bathroom sink taps in my apartment have two separate taps for the hot & cold water. Kinda annoying in the winter like now and would have bought a 2-tap into one converter, if one exists.

  • Shame about $10 shipping cost !

  • There's Click & Collect at Kmart now?

    • Yea. Not all stores though.

Can you guarantee that I'll get a 3-way if I buy two? I've always wanted one……

    • +1

You most likely will, but remember if you want to use all three at the same time, you will have significantly reduced pressure.

      • Not sure if whoooosh or…

I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt

        • I'm voting woosh

          @shmahoo:
But either way, in my opinion a 3-way usually gives some pressure relief, only for pressure to build up in one of the other "outlets" usually leading to some kind of explosion.

    • Never mind. Was excited for a second…

  • Does anyone know what happens if you connect one 2-way to another 2-way and then to another 2-way and then another 2-way and then again to another 2-way and then do that a few more times with some more 2-ways.

    Asking for a friend.

    • break-breaka, breaka-breaka, you got a copy there CQ?

  • These only tend to last a few years in the hot Aussie sun, but for 20c who cares! Buy 5!

  • Who charges for C&C!? Way to encourage spending Kmart.

    • Who charges for C&C!?

Target (if your order is under $29)
"Click & Collect delivery is a free service for orders over $29, orders under $29 incur a $5 handling fee."

      • Seriously? That's a bit of a joke.
I understand it takes labour to collect the orders but when companies like Bonds provide free shipping it seems silly for companies such as Kmart and Target to be charging for C&C.

You may as well call the store and ask for the item to be put on hold. Essentially the same service and it's free.

        • I believe Target send their Click and Collects out from a warehouse as opposed to e.g. Myer or David Jones who get the Click and Collects from the shop floor.

        • Depends on what their margin are - and am guessing Bond would have more margin than kmart/target :)
on 20c thing - am doubting they would have any margin at all - but even if it is 100% - and if they provide free CnC - they would lose even if the person doing the work spends one minute.
          1 minute = 33cents on $20 per hour.

So may be that's a good indication that they are charging CnC - means they are playing at low margins.

  • At first glance I thought it was a model V-twin engine of some sort.

  • 20 cents.
There is almost nothing in this price range today. Nice find.

Thanks hooked it up to my neighbours tap and ran my house back to my house - true bargain.

  • Becareful this device is illegal in some states.

    • Which state and why?

      • See comment from @robb6014 re the illegal part:

hooked it up to my neighbours tap and ran back to my house

        • Oh only a misdemeanor. Thought it was something more sinister

One plus for the funny description.

lol. two way taps - good for training - one for front yard and one for the backyard.

  • I refuse to use 2 hoses in the same collision domain.
