  • But it says i2….

The other option for the cord is to use an old or buy a "Figure 8" Australian Power Cord such as this from Officeworks.

Unbelievable, that's my luck! I have been looking for this exact charger (bought a powerful flashlight last week) for a couple of days last week and in the end bought one for almost AU$23 locally. I know you have to buy the plug separately, but it still hurts when an item you've been trying to buy cheaper shows up here right on the same day you've received your slightly over-priced one. :(

And no, can't be bothered to go through returning the other one and all that hustle. It's just that I am mad with my all-the-time bad luck, man!

  • Using your method brings the D4 to $20.67usd, can anyone better that?
Apparently these charge eneloops a little better than the i2..

  • Any idea of the shipping time for this charger? Looking to buy batteries too but they will probably send the batteries by boat?

    • I ordered a bunch of microsd cards from everbuying and they took approx 3-4 for delivery.

Weeks, days months or years haha?

        • weeks. sorry.

I can't finalize my order. Some bug with the shipping method. It won't progress using $0 Flat Rate Shipping, so must select Standard or Expedited instead, blowing the overall price

    • same here… want's to charge me 30 bucks for shipping… less for express? 18 i think… hmmm… this needs to be sorted before we miss out on a kick ass enloop charger.

    • i see the problem too. never encountered that before.

I've contacted EB (email) but will hit up the reps who are members here as well.

      • i logged into the fullsite… and paid the battery handling fee… (needs tracking number) 2.47 + 1.46 postage insurance U.S. other codes worked though… ended up paying 25.08 U.S. about 35 bucks australian for the d4 charger. this should keep up the lifespan of my dick smith clearence enloops.

  • I really like nitecore chargers, I have the i4 and it's been in use almost every day since Nov'13, that D4 interests me. If only the Maha Powerex MH-C9000 did 18650 batteries…

  • What's the difference between the I2 & D2?

    • +1

I2 doesn't have a screen to display information, whereas the D2 does.

      • I see. Thanks

        • Plus I2 is the younger brother of R2

        • @cornbeef: R2 eh? I've only got the I2 now and I haven't even used it yet as I am waiting for a flashlight & batteries delivered. Thanks for the 411 though.

      • Yeah I would really like to have the ability to show capacity now after using the i4.

  • Not sure if their chargers come with the validation code.

My D4 got one and could be validated here:
    http://charger.nitecore.com/validation

  • Yes, unable to select standard (free) shipping. Blows the deal. Possibly because it has 'battery' in the description. This is on both www and mobile sites.

    • i see the problem too. never encountered that before.

I've contacted EB (email) but will hit up the reps who are members here as well.

      • Any response from EB reps?

        • yep. looking in to it. EB store have sent me a "lodged request acknowledgement"

        • @altomic: Thanks, keep us updated.

  • Same problem here, won't allow for free shipping.

  • I ordered this item on 25/05/2016 and it still says processing.

    • Their system does that.

  • Ordered via the desktop site, lost the 2% discount but oh well, still cheap. $32($35 with insurance) for the D4, happy with that.

doh… just found the nitecore d4 charger for 26.91 australian, with free delivery. @ www.bonanza.com …with validation code. i hope this helps out someone… if not make my buyers remorse sting a little less.

    • Have you purchased from them before?

      • no… but i would have, had i not just ordered the d4 from everbuying for 35 australian. jeez… rub salt in the wound.

        • I'm just saying, it looks way too good to be true. Considering the seller has no feedback, makes me wonder if the product is genuine or not.

    • mind sharing the code if generic?

      • He's talking about the validation code that comes on the package of the charger. It used to verify if the product is genuine.

Paypal will be my best friend if anything goes wrong……

        • Did you receive the product or any confirmation of the purchase?

        • @RichardL: no not yet, only confirmation been processed……

        • @kenneth88: Well I started the process of getting a refund from PayPal, since the seller isn't responding to any message or email.

        • @RichardL: seems legit as per http://www.scamadviser.com/is-iwayshop.com-safe.html but not sure why we got nothing… Ordered on the 16th!

        • @kenneth88: seems like we're not the only one, someone else recently left a feedback on the seller's page with the same problem of not receiving the product.

        • @RichardL: given up….. paypal dispute lodged.

        • @kenneth88: Join the club =)

        • @kenneth88: So the seller finally responded back through PayPal resolution centre with "i dont know why you didn't sow the mails i sent you", which I'm not sure if he's blaming me or not. Also he attached the tracking number.

        • @RichardL: yeah me too, given me a custom number which I don't think it can be trace… Hopefully something might arrive next week.

        • +1

@kenneth88: Received mine today, checked Validation Code on the site, appears to be genuine.

        • @RichardL: gratz case dismissed for u

        • @kenneth88: Hope you get your soon. My first smart charger, and loving it.

  • It is Paypal payment though. Would that not be enough protection?

  • both of these company's ship from a warehouse in china… there is no mention of authenticity codes on the everbuying website. 35 australian. bonanza does mention the codes… 26 australian. An online company is an online company… people are to lazy to give feedback unless something goes wrong. i'm more worried that i just spent 35 bucks on a fake nitecore charger… it'll still charge batteries (i hope… 'cause that's what i bought it for) but that's not the point. i've been looking for one of these for 6 months now… i should've known better. i could've saved 10 bucks.this is ozbargain after all.

    • Nitecore from Everbuying should be fine. They have quite a few sales on OzBargain for Nitecore product, without any complaints so far. As for paying $35, you should have waited until the shipping bug was fixed, that would the pain a bit bearable.

      • cheers for the optimism… iv'e already purchased the power cable from officeworks. fingers crossed. i'll post an update when and if the D4 arrives and if it does or doesn't charge batteries.

        • No problems. If the shipping bug isn't fixed soon, I might try bonanza, and see how it goes.

        • the D4 arrived yesterday… and it came with an aussie power cable adapter/connecter for free. sigh… i may be a pessimist but here's the thing. it's as loose as my ex-girlfriend… the plug falls away/disconnects under the cables own weight. i would use the figure 8 cable i got from officeworks but it doesn't fit into the figure 8 slot ( different type of plastic and the pins are a little wide) i'll need to superglue the bloody adapter to the cable before i can even use it to charge batteries… it did come with a certification code though…

        • @Well Wasted: I ended up purchasing from Bonanza….BIG mistake, no confirmation, no response; nothing. More likely was scammed. Starting the PayPal refund process now.

  • Anyone know if these can boost depleted 18650 batteries? Im looking at the UM20 instead, anyone know the difference between the two?

  • Does this deal work now op?
