Rubbish to add to our already massive useless piles of crap

    • gee, thanks for the vote of support. how about we do an adelaide water 'before & after taste test'

      • No thanks i might force myself to try it after but no way would i want to try the before again

    Definitely worth the money

  • Wait 30 mins before drinking water??

    • i got one early in the week & yes, wait 30mins for the gas to evaporate and see-you-later-toxins. it has a slight smell of ozone gas. it isn't harmfull it only will give you diarrhoea.

Drink water, get the runs……seems fair trade off

        • lol we all have to make sacrifices these days

Have you stopped to consider that the incredibly cheap "water purifier" made in some random chinese factory might be made out of toxic materials that leech into the water? Do you really dislike fluoride that much?

Edit: Oh. I glanced over the last bit. I'm not sure what to think now.

        • why flouride? lots of other things can contaminate water not only from your toxic plastic & do. you know that pesticides are usually found in drinkin water & there is many different types of these substances.

c'mon man it's all about trying something new that somebody likes & has tried for themselves. nothing personal.

ok, so the guy at the aquarium store tells everyone not to put hot water straight from the tap as the temperature causes the copper to leech into the water and kill fish reccomended to use kettle.

          @someguy1976:

God knows what chemicals are used in this cheap uncertified purifier/filter. Probably better off drinking water from the toilet.

Also, no need to take the comments so personally. The product is being judged, not your life.

Anything PVC potentially has lead as a stabilizer.

You are on a website that is 100% focussed around value for money.

There is no place here for pseudo science, bullshit claims, and overpriced rubbish like this.

ok, so the guy at the aquarium store tells everyone…

So a fish walks into a bar. Bartender says, “Shouldn’t you be in school?”

        • I don't agree.

So this thing gives you diarrhea ?

Sorry but i dont see any reason to pay $60++ for something with no brand from china …

  • I don't understand how ozone gas bubbled through the water would remove chloride and fluoride - and if it does "remove" them I presume it's by reacting with them, so what is the resultant compound? As far as I can recall from my chemisty lectures, fluorine oxide doesn't exist.

    • Not sure where OP that from. Ozone generators are useful to remove heavy metals from the water, but not fluoride. Additionally, due to the low power output of the self powered mechanism, the listing itself says, "Note: This ozone generator is NOT designed for purifying contaminated water." Maybe it's just OP's wishful thinking.

    • Dark matter

  • Do they also sell electric superchargers for cars?

The closest I could find to a technical review of the claims are from an Amazon comment for this device. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/review/B007ZGYD5U/R15UFWPF2GLTB…

Not very favorable. Basically if it generates all it's power from the water moving, the reviewer indicated that it would produce ten times less ozone than indicated, an it would therefore take ten times longer to perform its job.

      Sucks to be you.

If you can find a technical review, let me know! I can't find any certification for these devices except to fakes with spelling errors…

  • Better to have bought the ~$35 Brita a couple weeks ago. Or a proper RO job which I use.
The ad seems like a snake oil salesman wrote it.

    • Brita is expensive due to the use of proprietary filter cartridges. (razor blade / inkjet model)
Better to spend a bit more up front on a system which takes standard 10" cartridge, which can last for years, depending on your water quality.

    • Seems like a snake oil salesman wrote it

      They did…

God know why you buy this filter, but I am going to buy the "BioNase Nose Rhinitis Sinusitis Cure Therapy Massage Hay fever Low Frequency Pulse Laser HealthCare Machine instrument Massager", I hope it will fit on my belt, definitely will impress my friends at work.

Now THAT is the perfect balance of fashion and effectiveness.

      • It's a lovely isotope but it kinda gets lonely like lead in plastic.

    • Are you a plummer?

      • No, but I always wear a belt to attach my phone, keys, Fitbit and drink bottle.
