  • how much is shipping?

    • There's nothing on the website about shipping, so it must be free…

      • Shipping to Melbourne is $15…

  • Wow that is a good price. I just want an internal 2TB hdd but this external is an excellent price.

  • $175 + 15 = $190 for a 2TB

the price is ok but hardly a bargain.

  • it is better for pick up!

  • It's the same price from PCCaseGear. (with delivery I mean). It's 11 bucks to Melbourne and 12 bucks for Express.

  • I was curious what the third position on the knob was for. So here's the answer: it brightens the LED while the standard "on" setting has the LED as a lower intensity.

    • +1

      lol wtf…

    • yeah i agree wtf, but research says that LED's can be distracting, esp. bright blue ones. can make you sleepy/tired and stuff.

      • More like they keep you awake. Never heard that LEDs make you sleepy?

        • This LED is the limited edition "Stilnox Mk II" version.

    • lol yes. I have the 1.5tb version of this drive, and the knob adjusts the brightess from "bright" to "blinding", so don't expect a good night's sleep from using this feature

  • The 'knob' is the worst looking thing in history.

  • ShoppingSquare have a hitachi USB 2TB for 175.95 + ship. (I believe it was free shipping last week, but showing $13 shipping for me now)

  • Not a good deal with the pricey shipping

  • Good Deal! Even if its a Samsung drive.
