        considering a leather watch strap might cost over half the price of this watch, I don't think they will be making much profit if they used real leather. Glass is probably not scratch -resist.

    There are watches just like this all over Ali. They are basically all Daniel Wellington reps with a different dial. This is evident by the case, case back and lugs. Expect a a very loud (as in ticking) and tiny movement that is held in place by a large piece of plastic. Here is an example with feedback to compare.       I would much prefer to buy a Casio analogue watch, at least you know the movement is not completely shite

      The MTP-V001L-1B for example, has real leather and mineral glass, costing only $30 AUD.

      Also, the cheap Wellington knock-offs are plastic.

      The glass is plastic.
      The gold is plastic.
      The leather is plastic.

      But the back battery cover is genuine stainless steel. So that's a plus.

      Do you own one? This is a quartz watch and it will most likely be very good at keeping the time.

        I do. These definitely lose time monthly. There are reports they stop working fairly soon too. However, if someone needs a temporary watch then it's not too bad. I also didn't like the supplied strap. Used a better NATO strap.
