Xbox One Limited Edition 1TB Halo 5: Guardians Console Bundle $389 @JB Hi-Fi - IN STORE ONLY

670

I was just at JB Hi-fi Doncaster & picked up the last one of these bundles at an amazing price, cheapest I've seen so far. Whilst the price does not get seem to be reflected on their website I asked the guy there and he confirmed that it should be Australia wide and I also confirmed with a couple of other stores in Victoria and they are doing it at the same price and have stock !!

  • Even cheaper than the Target clearance, damn no wonder since I was trying to PM with JB they had like 15 units and refused to budge.

    • Which Target clearance bundle are you referring to?

      • It was one a while back where they sold the Halo 5 XBO bundle for like $410 with a discount code. I nabbed one then.

        • Nope no discount, Target just had clearance prices on a range of products, one of which was this bundle at $399. I bought one from Caroline Springs VIC.

Probably because the new console just got announced.
Might see some good bargains in the future.

    • I thought they'd only cull Kinect on cheaper bundles like this, but then I saw that new console. Kinect is basically dead at this point.

      • You can still use Kinect on the Xbox one S, it just doesn't have a dedicated port. You will need to buy a USB adaptor to plug in Kinect.

        • No new Xbox SKU includes Kinect, the new console doesn't even include a port, no new software announcements this year. Even with the workaround, Kinect is gone.

        • @Slo20: They didn't even mention Kinect at E3, no new software announcements for 2016, no dev support, new console doesn't even support it out of the box. Short of them actually saying 'Kinect is dead,' which will never actually happen, this peripheral is already 6 feet under.

    Price match with eb games

    • I tried to get EB games to price match the Big W offer and they wouldn't, so YMMV.

Or give your money to the shop that's actually offering the deal? EB are garbage

      • Sometimes you don't get a choice as the original provider is out of stock, so all you can do is get the garbage store to match their price, so the garbage one at least makes a little less money than they wanted to.

I'm fairly sure EB does not have to price match console bundles.

      • Yeah, they've never price matched for me.

eb games are a joke , there are games 6 months old that are still $99 RRP im amazed there still going

      • It's so when they have the 50% off 'sale' it will go down to $49… which is still a shit price for half the games there.

      • i see parents just go in there to buy stuff for there kids at full price all the time, they see games in the title and just hand out money…

        • yeah i agree , i always use to buy games at ebgames maybe about 7-8 years ago. target always has the games cheaper i find

    • What duke said

  • Got this console. Well worth the extra $$$

enjoy! halo 5 is so good !

      • I'm actually addicted to Rocket League

  • Is this in-store only, and only for selected stores? Price online still reflects $499 - and I phoned up my local WA store and they confirmed that its still $499
Can anyone else confirm whether its $389 and in which state you are in
